Proper voter ID and stopping the use electronic vote gathering.Β Bring back the old voting machines, as pictured above, that used a lever to close a curtain, mechanical levers to select who you voted for. Open the curtain and the votes are tallied by the machine and the levers are reset. One democrat, one republican, and one independent verifies the tallied vote.Β Absentee ballots are the lone exception to in person voting and should be tabulated by the same method as machine voting is. Votes are then certified that night with no possibility of voter fraud. It should never take anymore time than the end of election day to release the results. As a mater of fact election day should be a Federal holiday so everyone can exercise their constitutional right to vote. Let's go democratic members of congress and pass this critical legislation.
