Summary:
“Irrational” is a down-to-earth story about Lucy. A young woman’s struggles, living with generalized anxiety. The paralyzing thoughts and worries that seemingly spawn from nowhere that seem completely overwhelming at times and hinders her ability to live a much desired, peaceful life. Â
With a wall in front of her that seem so endlessly tall and unbreakable, Lucy tries to find comfort in spending time with her cute, white cat, and her increasingly worried roommate. Â But obstacles must be faced, both within and outside of her head. Â
She just hopes that one day, she will be okay. Â Â
Here is an early concept image of Lucy’s room. How she would sleep without a bed, I’ll never know.
Hello! I am M.A. Starling and I am creating a short video-game for PC, called “Irrational”. This will be the beginning of my, uhm, adventure. This is even my very first post.
The game will be available for free download and is coming out soon.
It is a VN-type game, centered around a girl named Lucy and her roommate. It’s a down-to-earth story about mental disorders, specifically, generalized anxiety. The thoughts and worries and how Lucy tries to cope with such challenges that seem overwhelming at times. As well as her roommates struggles with seeing a close friend going through these awful emotions.
A lot of work and passion went into this project and I’m glad to see it finally coming together.
