I hate him. One of these days, I’m gonna trick him into drinking paint water and then I’m going to make him laugh his dumb, pretty laugh and then he’s going to snort paint water out of his nose. And that’s only part one of my multi-step multi-year revenge plot. I also plan to cook and force feed him comfort food that will make him lose his v-cut abs. And convince him to let us get a cat so there’ll be cat hair on everything in the house. Marrying him and stealing half his possessions may also be in the cards.

She left Kreagan Valley within days of finding out, leaving a grieving father and a whole life behind.

The only explanation she offered to her best friend Blake Hayes before leaving was a letter. It was vague, emotional, and not nearly the kind of closure either of them needed.

She still checks in on his life from time to time, and knows he has a family now.

She’s not jealous.

Not at all.

Her dream was always to curate and create art, but she gave that all up and got into private security. It was a way to keep her hunting skills sharp and make some cash on the side.

She’s never in one place for too long, moving from target to target, always on the lookout for the vampire who killed her mom. She’s spending a bit of time in Kreagan Valley for her dad’s birthday, trying her best not to run into Blake while she’s there.

I know, I know, but I figured it was a pretty good bargain I mean, lie to my psychotic parents all night in exchange for one dance? I might be regretting that after said dance but whatever, for now, right in this moment, it was totally worth it. I should’ve never let you watch The Notebook that was such a mistake. Elmo is a creep. If I talked like Elmo would you still love me? I don’t know if that’s how it works and that was one time, Blake Hayes, and it was mostly because my mom shoved me into something with ruffles so I was already in a bad mood.
