The sadness I heard in your voice, the sadness for the loss of yourself, left me aching, in despair. I did that, I hurt you, the one I love. I cannot fix what I broke and that is the hardest of all. I desire your happiness, even more than my own, and yet the only way I can see to help is to disappear. To make sure I never hurt you again. So now my pain abounds. Life stretches infinitely long an eternity spent aching for you, from afar. Never allowed to touch, converse, communicate left to long from a distance.

I thought you killed my hope.... but as the pain ebbed, I realized it wasn't hope dying, it was the pain of the chains, being ripped....out of my heart, that caused the anguish. But now, laid bare and bleeding, my heart is slowly healing, mending that which belonged to you, back into that which is MINE
