Meggy nd maryo are absolutely amazing they challenge each other constantly with maryo helping meggy realise there are times where you just have to chill and go with the flow and meggy teaching maryo how to take things seriously when necessary (hey, two sides of the same coin?)

But also i wish people talked more about maryos relationships with tari, melony, and saiko. Hes incredible with all of them. Maryo was the catalyst for tari coming out of her shell by (forcefully lol) introducing her to new experiences which led to her gaining not just one friend but an entire group of them! Melony. Hmm. I mean. Melony wouldnt really even Exist if it wasnt for maryo. But i also enjoy immensely how protective he is of her. Hes surprisingly well adjusted when it comes to dealing with grief (as weve seen before with meggy) and it always makes me so happy to see that hes her #1 defender when it comes to axol stuff (i ADORE the Lets make a deal Episode. maryo being the voice of reason for once especially in that situation is incredibly special to me)
