Hello! I am a 18 year old writer who's been working on a manuscript for years! I'm starting this blog to document my writing process and to hopefully one day post about my story being published. This post is just to explain who I am and what my story is about!
About me!
I started writing when I was in fourth grade! The first draft of manuscript was made back then and the only thing that has stayed the same is the names of the main characters.
I love to read! I read 112 books in 2024!
I'm on my fourth (and hopefully final!!) draft of my manuscript. I was close to finishing it before deciding I needed to overhaul the timeline of the story.
My dream is to be in contact with a publisher before I graduate high school.
I once commissioned an artist to draw some of the main characters in my story and it's been my lockscreen ever since.
My writing schedule is insanely inconsistent and I'm hoping that posting here will help with that.
I'm hoping to finally finish my (hopefully final!) draft by the end of 2025. I will update this blog with my progress whenever I can. Since I'm overhauling the timeline I have a lot of old chapters I haven't deleted yet so my word count isn't terribly accurate. Once the overhaul is done I'll update my starting word count.
