S1: “I don’t think I believe in ‘deep down.’ I kind of think all you are is just the things you do.” “Well, that’s depressing.”

S2:  “It gets easier. Every day it gets a little easier. But you got to do it every day. That’s the hard part. But it does get easier.”

the way those messages fit together is also a great progression - actions are ultimately all you’ll leave behind, and if you’re trying to do something hard, sometimes you just have to work at getting in the habit.

there is also this wise epiphany from the Russian spy: “So, these two were so consumed by greed that it destroyed them. You know, I came here today to blow up Disneyland. But now I realize, I don't need to take down capitalism. Capitalism sows the seeds for its own destruction. It's a snake that eats itself. It's only a matter of time!”
