it's funny how, just about without exception, Thor fans who are disdainful of Loki... misunderstand Thor. And how Loki fans who are disdainful of Thor... misunderstand Loki. I don't know why it works that way but it does.

In today’s edition of “2021 is just 2011 with flair”it just occurred to me that with the release of the Loki tv show, we’re going to see such a resurgence of the old debate “hmm but was it really Loki’s fault that he did the bad things” and I for one am already annoyed by it AND looking forward to defending my new point of view that I’ve gained over the intervening decade since the last time we litigated this en masse: it is absolutely his fault he did the bad things but it’s okay because I like him

sam and bucky are giving off estranged husbands on the verge of divorce reuniting for one final adventure. redwing is obviously their pet bird that bucky tolerated for sam’s sake. sam has already filed the paperwork and is trying to move on. bucky on the other hand is down bad, sleeps on the floor, no chair and uses the divorce papers as a dart board. will the thrills and dangers of superheroing on an international scale reignite their love and save their marriage? only time will tell

Not super up to date on Marvel characters but I think that Dr. Strange would be the person writing the lengthy call out post about tiktok baby witches cursing the moon while Loki is the guy who adds “great work team! let’s do the sun next!” right under it.
