Janus wouldn't be hurt by that comment either. Like it's not "I know ur lying ass isn't commenting" it's more like, "this is a person I care about, don't you dare be mean to them" and like. Maybe Janus understands that intellectually, even though his ego takes a hit by Logan not being on his side (haha sanders sides) But like. he understands being defensive of people you care deeply about (even more compelling and angsty if the person Logan is correcting is Virgil)

It would make said dumbass (roman/virgil) take a step back and go "woah maybe i actually went too far and said something hurtful or wrong" instead of being super defensive and arguing themselves into a deeper hole (as both are known to do lol)

every single side has a kind of "if you disagree you don't care about me" thing going on and having a moment where we pause mid-argument and go "hey no, you're wrong for that but i still love you" would do a CRAZZZYYYY amount of good for like. ALL OF THEM. like you don't understand it would make ALL SIX of the sides go "wait huh that feels good to know" and maybe they'd practice pausing and going "you're wrong and i love you" more. I'M BEGGING Y'ALL HAVE A CONVERSATION- anyways

This is the same side that stopped smiling and telling jokes because he concluded that he'd never be listened to if he isn't serious because people don't take Patton seriously and HE never took Patton seriously.

This is the same side that used to be so happy and excited to teach Thomas things but nobody wants to hear his expositions. They skip the monologues, they fall asleep, they tune it out. They don't care and that hurts doesnt it? Having to change yourself to be heard? And how can you stay happy doing what you love and fulfilling your purpose if nobody wants it?

Then he's asked for help on things he knows he's not good at and they dismiss his ideas. Again. That just hurts me so much.

This is the same side that pretends he doesn't have feelings because if he acknowledges them he'll get angry becsuse he's hurting and he's not supposed to hurt because he's fooled himself into thinking he's not supposed to be hurting.

roceit is one of those ships i always forget about but i think i fw them now. ive learned. my eyes are open.
