We’re only a third through June and I’ve already finished five books (no audiobooks, just physical!) I can feel my momentum slowing a teensy bit already but that’s still a great start! With Deltarune updating soon I’m going to shift my focus to video games a little bit, too.

I’m reading, I’m reading, I’m in a mood where all I want to do is read nonstop and that results in a lot of reading journal entries. I know I just posted a new spread from this journal yesterday but I’ve already got another one readyyyy… I didn’t intend to start Pride Month by reading a bunch of weird queer books but that’s what’s happening so far!

I’ve gotten really gung-ho about reading but the last thing I want is to let that slow down my gaming. Attempting and failing to Let’s Play has really stifled my gaming, but I I think I’ve decided to give that up for good so now I can find joy in games again! In Their Shoes is kind of mid and thus not the best example of that but I did have a lot of fun finishing it up over the last two days.

A woodsy, rustic spread for the last two books I finished! Unfortunately there was quite a gulf in how much I liked these books, but I am glad I didn’t DNF We Came To Welcome You because the ending was the best part. I also really like the tree I made.

I also finished a book today and documented that on the next page, but you’ll see it when there’s a full spread.

I made tabs and everything! It’s like a commonplace journal but just for all the facets of Spanish.

Hello Beautiful is the first page in this journal where I’ve drawn elements! I drew a basketball and a helix representing the Padovano sisters’ curly hair. I’ve also been playing Bayonetta and part of me hoped I would finish that next so I could make a page for it next to Hello Beautiful with a matching drawing of Bayonetta’s ponytail or Wicked Weave down the side, but alas.

Two more books, both kind of goofy! The decoration on both pages is kind of sparse, but I don’t have a ton of scary monster stickers that would fit!

My media journal April recap is here! I think it’s a sign of a good month when every superlative comes from a different work.

Next month’s Stickii Club theme is literally just “strawberries” and I’d be lying if I said anticipating that didn’t inspire my Celeste theming at all

I’m turning 30 in a couple months, which is a great excuse to plan a party, which is a great excuse to try out some fun spreads in my bullet journal. Here’s a “party overview” spread, based on one of my favorite video games, Celeste, a game which only means more and more to me as I get older.

A great game and a great book! I probably will not use that lime green pen to write in this journal again, unless it really really suits the thing I’m writing about.

A very colorful media journal spread! This is the first time I’ve used my glitter gel pens in a review and the first time I’ve used multiple colors in one review, and I really love how it looks. I will be surprised if Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow doesn’t end up being my favorite book I read this year

Once again, I only finished three books and one single game this month - luckily This Bed We Made was actually good so it getting “Best Game” is not totally stolen valor XD I was busy with a show, and as you can see by the In Progress list, I’ve been in the middle of a bunch of games. Still, I swear I’ll have more to put in the journal in April!
