My Storygraph stats for June! I was inspired by @autisticwriterblog to share these :)

It was a stupidly good reading month for me in terms of numbers (although more than I'd like got less than stellar ratings). I did actually read one book on my mom's Kindle so the medium pie graph is wrong (I couldn't find a digital edition on Storygraph that had the right number of pages so I just put it down as print), and I'm also not super consistent about updating my pages read on the app daily so maybe don't totally trust the pages read graph, especially towards the end of the month.

But yeah, I'm really happy with how this month went! Hopefully I can keep this energy up for July!

I barely registered what this meant while playing, but looking back on it I think the idea is "Blue has a character portrait sometimes because he likes having one sometimes"

It's funny because Blue being the one flower aside from Flowery to have a dialogue portrait kind of reads to me as him having a similar sort of awareness as him, but he's so personally satisfied in playing his part that his diegesis fuckery starts and ends at the Mr. Butterfly stuff and arbitrarily making his healing magic blue instead of green. Unbothered, moisturized, happy, in his own lane, etc.

I keep losing motivation and convincing myself that I don't want to make Let's Play videos anymore, but this time I'm back and I really mean it, I think!

I'm continuing my Deltarune playthrough with chapter 5:

Before I started recording the new chapter of Deltarune last week, I said to myself "I give myself permission to not post this if I don't feel like it" and it really made me feel much freer and more relaxed about the whole YouTube thing. I had this idea in my head that I had to be consistent, posting every single day, or else it wasn't worth having a YouTube channel at all. And there's definitely truth to that - it's easier to build and maintain an audience when you're consistent, but this was never about gaining a huge following or, god forbid, money. It was just about being there to share cool games with whoever chances to stumble upon my channel!
