My mom told me yesterday that, whenever I want my baby stuff and scrapbook (that she made of my childhood??) I can have them, because she's trying to clean out the guest room closet. Which like.... I thought that stuff is usually so the parents can be sentimental about their kids, but okay.

I thought this was just a "my parents being emotionally disconnected like always" thing, but when talking with my friends, apparently their parents have also done this?? Like what is going on with that generation??

Obvi not all all of them, but its wild how common that lack of emotional connection seems to be with people my age and our parents 💀
