The developers not only cut the prologue and Spike from the prologue (but didn't cut it in the epilogue), but also shortened or completely deleted the scenes with Hakon. It's a bastard thing to do.

They literally deleted Cillian, and that's a significant part of the Night Runners plot, which isn't very big anyway. Now we don't see a picture with Frank since the days of the special forces. And we won't find out about Hakon and Cillian's past together. All we have from Cillian now is that his voice is recorded on several tapes, plus he appears in the last third of the game when missiles are flying at the city. And it's just a guy we don't know.

What is their response? "Eat what we give you and don't be indignant, it's necessary." I hate the Tencent Studio.

Techland removed the prologue to Dying Light 2 in June 2026. The game was four years old. It is no longer the same as when I bought it.

I went to bed ridiculously early on February 3rd in 2022. Not because I was tired or anything, but I knew I wasn’t about get much sleep in the near future. And I had to be up early. Very early. 1 AM kinda early, because that was when the PLAY button on Dying Light 2 was going to turn green.
