here's the somewhat long hardenshipping headcanon list (SFW). they're mostly centered around ORAS but some can apply to RSE
* Maxie goes to bed pretty early each night and wakes up early, while Archie stays up late and sleeps late (and is a heavy sleeper).
* Maxie plays the NYT games, especially wordle, daily. He'd play at midnight on the dot if he weren't already asleep by then, so he does it every morning.
* Maxie mainly listens to classical music, and Archie tries to expand Maxie's taste. Archie has a broad taste, but mainly nu metal.
* Maxie smokes and his drink of choice is wine. Archie doesn't smoke and his drink of choice is whiskey, but beer if he wants something lighter. RSE Maxie drinks straight Vodka out the bottle (barely even a headcannon. it's practically canon).
* Archie has tattoos, mostly of aquatic pokemon. He has a large kyogre tattoo across his back.
* Archie's X on his face is face paint, and is a daily routine. He saw Sharpedo and thought it was so beautiful he just had to do it himself.
* In their Team Rocket days, Maxie was the lead scientist, and Archie was a grunt. They didn't really get the chance to work together, but Archie would stop by Maxie's office on a regular basis to pester him, and Maxie secretly enjoyed the company, even if it was distracting.
* Maxie has light freckles that are barely visible on his face, but more prominent around his shoulders. Archie is the only one who knows this.
* Maxie is a daily coffee drinker, always more than one cup and always dark. Archie hates the taste but loves the scent that lingers around Maxie each morning.
* Maxie and Archie work together post ORAS, and they both visit each other's bases regularly. They have a somewhat established rekindled relationship, but it is not known to the teams. Despite being able to enter, they still respectively get dirty looks from grunts and admins as if they're up to something. These are played off as meetings between the leaders. Whatever kind of meeting happens when someone routinely visits someone in private.
* Archie has a singular ear piercing, a small gold hoop, on his right ear.
