I really hope everything stays wonderful and happy for you, like I do of any marriage. I really do. But there will be hard times and a VERY steep learning curve on those because you are so young (not a knock, a fact). When that happens surround yourself with loved ones and listen to the advice of couples who have been through it. I'm glad you're happy but make sure you have the wisdom and experience of others you lack only because of your age

I loved your 18 and married post. I got married at 19. There's nothing wrong with getting married young if it's for love. My husband and I are stationed in NC, he's deployed right now though. You can always message me if you need a friend!

Don't listen to anyone. I met my husband online and we got married four months after meeting. We were only 20 years old... Maybe young and dumb to most, but I honestly believe it was the best decision I've made in my life. Here we are a year and ten months of marriage, and were happier than ever! It also doesn't matter how long you've known someone I mean some arranged marriages even do fine when they're complete strangers. Anyone who puts you down about this marriage needs to worry about their own relationships not anyone else's if you last of you don't who cares when it's your business although I guess that's what you get for letting asks so free on this blog people get to judge that way but I would turn off the anon option or all asks in general. Please don't stress over the negative responses to your married at 18 post. While PERSONALLY my husband and I waited longer to get married, two weeks into our relationship we had that incredibly awkward, "are you feeling this chemistry, because I think you're my person and I swear I'm going to marry you" conversation. So I'm a firm believer that when you know, you know. If we'd gotten married that day I'd have zero regrets. So I agree that it can happen! May you share many happy years together!

My parents got married at 18. They're still married today :) age never defines success in a marriage but resistance to divorce does at any age. You can be dating someone for a decade and find out they're a jerk one day. I married at 21 and we are still happy too. But it wasn't because we dated long before it. It takes a lot to stay the person you were in high school sometimes they're not willing to grow with you.
