This homemade version of Chick-Fil-A's famous chicken sandwich tastes just like the real thing. The chicken is crispy and tender, and the bun is soft. This is a delicious burger that you can make at home.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup dill pickle juice. 1 cup milk. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/2 cup powdered sugar. 1/2 tsp paprika. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of American cheese. Sliced pickles. Butter for toasting buns. Cooking oil for frying.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine pickle juice and milk. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes. In another bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, powdered sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Heat cooking oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350F 175C. Remove chicken from the marinade and coat each breast in the flour mixture. Repeat for a double coating. Fry chicken for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. While the chicken is frying, butter the hamburger buns and toast them in a separate skillet until golden. Place a slice of cheese on each chicken breast during the last minute of frying to melt. Assemble the burgers: Place a chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun. Top with sliced pickles and the top bun.
