Tres Frutos

It's been a while, but we're still around. Excuse my son's lack of pants, he's not all too fond of clothing.

Marley finally got his first haircut and did so well. No tears or anything, thanks solely to that little gun in his hand. He now looks like a little Beatles member. I haven't gotten a decent picture of his haircut but I will.

This weekend was quite great. Easter was a blast and not nearly as anxiety filled as I imagined. I can't wait to be back in San Antonio for good in 2 weeks. By the way, he's sitting in the middle of his little train set and refused to sit elsewhere even though he didn't fit. ☺

Taking pictures with baskets was not something he was interested in... This is probably the best one I got.

I used to write everyday. Poems, nonsense, thoughts. Everything. Now I almost never write. It's been years. No diary, journal, nothing. It's funny to me because English is/was my favorite subject. I helped my friend write and proofread her essays for school while Marley napped. It can't be that I have a lack of inspiration because my son is my world and more. So why is it that I no longer write? I feel like I have nothing to say, or perhaps the things I have to say aren't interesting/worth writing. I'm done with that. Starting today I am going to start writing again. Anything, everything. Doodles, rhymes, poems and thoughts. I recently purchased two notebooks I'm dying to put to use. On top of those two, I have another 3 or so that I have written in at one point or another but forgot about. I love notebooks. It's an infatuation. So anyway, wish me luck and may my creative juices flow once more. 😉

Nothing is more comforting than cuddling up to your son and napping when neither of you is feeling well.
