It's not about the End

Hey guys!! So i’m writing up a few different stories at one time and I was hoping to get a beta?

It would be for Marvel, Supernatural, and possibly Star Trek stories- and I would be extremely grateful to anyone who wants to do it! If you’re interested just message me or reblog this saying you’re interested, or if you know someone who would be could you reference me to them?

January 12th 2000: After being born my father drives my mother and I home from the hospital, Linkin Park playing from his old Toyota speakers. For as long as I can remember Linkin Park has been around and in my life.

September 6th 2015: Linkin Park arrives in Italy and I get to see my favorite band live with my favorite member of the family (My father) and my best friend. Despite knowing we have school the next day, my father lets us stay for the whole concert- lets us jump and sing and scream to our hearts content. Even when we get back in the car we continue to listen to Linkin Park- Chester’s voice screaming through our car speakers as her and I scream along. For the next week we couldn’t stop talking about the concert.

July 20th 2017: I wake up in good spirits and wait for my boyfriend to arrive at my house. “I’m upset” Why? “Chester’s dead.”

Immediately I was in disbelief. “This isn’t funny, if this is some sick joke you’re playing you’re gonna regret it-” I began rambling before falling silent- pulling out my phone and looking it up on google even though I know he wouldn’t lie to me- not even as a joke about someone so important to me.

“CHESTER BENNINGTON DEAD AT 41- SUICIDE” glared up at me from my phone and I leaned back against the door- a hand going up to cover my mouth as tears unwillingly built and spilled out of my eyes. My boyfriend looks on concerned and I can’t make eye contact with him or my sister, my phone landing on the couch as I tossed it.

“Are you okay?” He asks before pulling me into his chest- holding me as I quietly cry into his shoulder. My sister’s sitting on the couch in silence, even the world outside my house is silent in grief.

Even now, I sit in my rocking chair typing this and thinking ‘they’re gonna think im ridiculous’ and constantly reminding myself that Chester gave me everything, this is the least I can do for him.

Even now im still in disbelief, hoping that tomorrow I’m going to wake up and find that this was all just a really bad dream. That Chester and Linkin Park will still show up in Denver next month and I’ll get to see them again- scream, jump, and sing with them once more.

Chester, may you rest in peace and sit by Chris in heaven- may you two rock out- and may you get to rock out with every one of your idols who are there with you. Thank you Chester- for giving me everything I needed to realize I’m not alone.
