A visit to Oinking Acres with my younger sister and her granddaughter. We come here regularly to enjoy the serene nature.

Very good evening yesterday at the Whitestown Parks and Recreation summer concert in the park series. The crowd was sparser than last week but still a couple hundred. The Indy Annie’s, a country western band which played favorites and original material, were good. Sorry I am not a fan of country western music; you may have loved the music. I had a Caesar bowl from Barsottis food truck for dinner. It was very good.

The first time I have had lunch at Saffron Indian Restaurant in Zionsville. Shelley and I usually have dinner here. I was having lunch with a good friend and fellow Lilly retiree. The lunch special was huge, 3 dishes, rice, naan, and a samosa!. The Chana masala and saag paneer as usual were very tasty. The lahsuni Goni, a cauliflower dish, was new for me. It was very spicy and good. I have leftovers for tomorrow!

Shelley and I had dinner at The Tipsy Mermaid last evening. It was dine to donate for the Humane Society of Boone County and we had a gift card. My meal was great, 305 seafood pasta, consisting of black ink pasta, Key West pink shrimp, and Maine scallops with burrata.
