Unpopular (or maybe not) trans opinions:
These are opinions (some I believe are totally facts but go off I guess)
• You need dysphoria to be trans. No doubt. There is NO reason to transition without it.
• Detransitioners are real. They arnt horrible people, either. I feel bad for them and only wish them the best.
• Non-binary is a real thing.
• Being trans is a mental illness. Im sorry but having your brain look at its body and think “oh no wtf is this ITS WRONG!” Is not natural.
• Transtrenders are real.
• Transness is not normal. It is not natural. It is a disorder.
• When needed (At the doctors more of), you should state your assigned gender at birth. Doctors need to know this information. Dysphoria sucks I know, but if you turn out to have uterus issues and your doctor thinks you have a penis cause you said youre male, there is going to be medical issues.
• Informed consent shouldnt be used. You shouldnt just walk into a clinic and immediately get T. You should need a note from a therapist.
• All therapists should be taught transgender material.
• The trans community is toxic.
• Kalvin Garrah, Storm Ryan, MissLondon, Blaire White, ect are not “toxic”. Yall are sensitive.
• Everyone is not valid. If you identify as “space gender”, you are not valid. Validation is important, yes, but we can not just let everyone into the trans community.
• Gender-non-conforming isnt transness.
• You can wear whatever you want.
• Being trans isn’t misogynistic.
• If you say youre trans and present your assigned gender, its gonna be hard for me to believe you.
