Fake friends ftw! For those of you who don't know who she is, this is Gemma Roche (last time I checked Gem Gem on FB) who decided to spread all sorts of rumours about me, accused an innocent man of rape and bitched about people for months on end and blamed it on me! So it's nearly Christmas and I'm really excited for it! I'm also really excited to enter a new year, hopefully full of new opportunities, positive vibes and new friends. At the end of each year, I always say 'Man! I'm glad this year is ending!' but someone once said to me that 'we remember the bad over the good', when it should be the other way around. So don't fret, don't look back and don't let people get you down. 2016 is going to rock and come 2017, I am not going to say 'thank God this year is nearly over' but I will say 'thank God I am alive and well and fortunate for the things I have in my life. Every year new opportunities and experiences arise and I should be grateful for that'. We should all stop the stressing and think for a minute how lucky we have it. I never want to be a selfish person. I never want to get annoyed or stressed over small things. And when I do, I am going to stop and think about those who aren't as fortunate and aren't doing so good. Let's be optimistic instead of pessimistic. And yes I know, I am often queen of pessimism...but I am going to make it my New Year's resolution to be good to others, to think about the good first (and not the bad) and to give thanks to loved ones for being there when we need them. If we could all do this, we would be kinder to each other. Let's be hippies and end 2015 on a good note. #Peace

So I know I keep going on about this, but after my surgery (we're looking at 4+ month now) I feel really good about myself :) for an entire year I was very insecure about my body. Mostly my upper half...(couldn't let a boy touch my right breast without getting freaked out) :P And then post-surgery I also had a traumatic experience with not being able to move much, being weak, not eating properly and not feeling good AT ALL about my body. I had the surgery a couple of weeks before my first ever nude shoot...and I'm really glad I did it :) I haven't stopped, modelling in general - I do wear clothes in some shoots :P but honestly...I think it was a good move on my part to show off and see my body from a POV that I've never seen before...if that makes sense. My scar on my right breast was and still is evident in images. My breast itself was numb for months. But the pain and the trauma of getting a lump out...is over now. It may mean nothing to other people, and especially the fact that it was benign...but to me a surgery, and that lump, really changed some part of me. I am more confident but 100% scared of it coming back. I'm pill-free now, and even though the docs said it was nothing to do with The Pill..I'm still wary of it and wouldn't go on it again (not unless of course etc etc) but I'd urge any chika to stay away from The Pill and try something else. Nonetheless, maybe it was nothing to do with The Pill and just life? Moral of the story is, I'm A ok, modelling as much as I can (nude and other styles, promise) and I'm healthy as healthy can be :) what is stress and unhappiness when you're alive and well?
