My Michael, my boyfriend, my man

Walking around doing the best he can

Helping his family while wooing me

And talking about starting our own family

The whole world may not get us

But who cares if they do?

They can live their own lives

Cause Michael's my boo

Drama with my parents, and with his mom

Why didn't we spend '08 together at prom?

Classmates, mutual friends, art class, more

Now we wish we had opened that door

But it's not 2008 or 2009 no more

We've both been up high, low on the floor

I've got big issues and he does too

But our crazy seems to both be eyed blue

So reunited over Facebook in 2019

Romance so strong it couldn't be a fling

Sure, fights arose as so did a manic state

But we couldn't resist that were meant to mate

So call it fate, the universe pushing us together

We're bound, gonna roll around in all sorts of weather

Cause he makes me feel light as a colorful feather

And we've vowed to make eachother continue to do better

Now I know what's behind that door

A soul I'll happily remind I'm yours

He and I dont cry no more...

But when you go and support friends continuously for being gay, poly, bi, etc. and then your monogomous straight self decides to make serious decisions due to the one person you've fallen in love with... dont let your LGBTQ+ friends or your straight friends tell you what to do. Your LOVE IS LOVE and your love making is fluid itself just within who you've chosen to be monogomous with.
