Hello to all you The Sims Medieval lovers! I was bored, so I whipped up this little roleplay game for our community.
No complicated rules - just a fun way to get to know each other's characters and have a good laugh!
THE PREMISE:Ā Your main hero (the Monarch) is giving an interview to a chronicler.
Answer the questions in character, attach a screenshot of your Sim, and then pass the baton to someone else. They answer, share a screenshot, and pass it on.

ā QUESTIONS
š How did you ascend to the throne (by bloodright, a coup, or just dumb luck?)?
- By bloodright, I guess... I was just born into the right family. All the other claimants mysteriously disappeared. Suspicious, right?
š What's your favourite pastime in the castle?
- My favourite pastime is hiding from the treasurer whenever he shows up with his reports.
š Which subject annoys you the most and why?
- The head cook. He's always experimenting with food. Last time he served me a soup that made me feel sick for three days. I still have flashbacks.
š What's your go-to drink at the tavern?
- Anything that pours. But especially butterbeer it warms you up and helps you forget, even just for one night, that you're a monarch.
š If you could choose a different destiny, what would you be?
- A lighthouse keeper. Quiet, windy, no decrees to sign. The dream.
š What legacy do you want to leave behind?
- I want people to tell stories about how I stole the throne from a dragon. It's not true, obviously but it sounds way cooler than "inherited it from dad." Let them wonder.
š What's the silliest royal decree you've ever issued?
- I ordered every street in the kingdom to be renamed after my favourite dishes. People still get lost, but I find it hilarious.
š What do you pray for at church?
- That my royal tailor stays in a good mood.
š What did you do with the money you skimmed from the treasury?
- I bought a secret island. My spare hats live there. Also three cats. It's my escape plan for when the subjects realise I have no idea how to run a kingdom.
š What will you say to your heir when you pass on the crown?
- "Here, take this far away from me. Good luck you're gonna need it."

Hi! I need your help, I hope you know what to do. I want to keep a quest NPC in the game, but the game deletes him after the quest is completed. I used the command center to bind him to residence, but it didn't work. I don't want to marry this NPC, but I'll do that as a last resort. Please tell me how to keep him in the game. I know for a fact that some quest NPCs remain in the game even after the quest

I'm not entirely sure, but maybe you could try summoning the NPC with the Watcher's Hand and then assign them aĀ professionĀ instead of a residence?
If they have a profession, they might show up at their workplace during work hours, which could keep them in the world even after the quest ends

I preserved the original textures almost entirely, only adding subtle anatomical details (areolae and genitalia). These skintones won't stand out from the base game.
To view the nude body in CAS, you'll need theĀ Unlock NudeĀ mod.
Pair it with grimreefer24601 3D Female Nipples replacement for even better results.
I crafted these coffins specifically for the Supernatural mod.
š§š¼āāļø With the functional coffin, a vampire can restore their strength. @mariacherry made it so that a cloud of mist spreads around it during the interaction.
You can even place the coffin on a table, turning it into a striking centerpiece for a funeral or dark ritual.

Command CenterĀ already includes everything the Debug Module from Medieval Life used to do, and much more. The Debug Module is very outdated and I wouldn't recommend using it anymore - it's not needed at all and keeping both could cause unnecessary duplicates.
Hello! Could you please tell me if it's possible to replace a sim with one from the bin using TSMCC? I remember I used to have a mod that let you do that but I re-installed the game recently and now I'm re-building my mod collection.

Hey maria I have a request that I think its really important for us builders: placing itens in between tiles! Ive tried cheats and shortcuts from sims 3 and even 4 trying to enable quarter tile but nothing worked, sims medieval has his own mechanisms. How I know its possible? they actually used quarter tiles in those pre made deluxe throne rooms! imagine the possibilities quarter tiles would unlock... I know we have moveobjects but I like dont like to use only if its extremely necessary.

It's actually way simpler than that - no cheats or mods needed!
Just hold theĀ AltĀ key while you pick up an object and you're free from the grid! I'd also recommend taking a moment to browse the hotkey section in the game - you can also slide paintings freely across walls outside the grid :)
Hi, I just found your blog recently and I had a possible bug/mod issue that I canāt find an answer for online. Basically I have this issue when I try and do the first quest and talk to the build master my interaction will cancel in the queue, itās happens with any sims and social interaction. I originally thought it was a mod issue and it worked for a bit but now itās back again and I have no idea how to fix it. If anyone has any idea what it might be any help would be massively appreciated, I really want to play and not being able to get past the first quest really ruins it for meš„²
Hi! There are a couple of ways to get past this:
Option 1:Ā Enable TestingCheats:
š ļø How to Enable the Developer Code (TestingCheats)
In The Sims Medieval,Ā testingcheatsenabledĀ doesnāt work right away like in TS3. You need to activate it manually:
Go to your game installation folder:Ā The Sims Medieval ā GameData ā Shared ā NonPackaged ā Ini
Find the Commands.ini file.
Right-click ā Properties and uncheck āRead-Onlyā.
Open the file in Notepad. Find the lineĀ TestingCheatsEnabled=0Ā and change it toĀ 1.
Save and close the file. Donāt forget to set it back to āRead-Onlyā afterwards.
Then, holdĀ CtrlĀ and click on the quest target - it should complete the objective automatically.
Option 2:Ā Start a different quest
If you're stuck in the tutorial, you can exit it by clicking on the ground or a mailbox and using theĀ "Exit Tutorial"Ā option from the Command Center.

With it, you can build protected zones from changes (even outside the kingdom). It allows you to change the height of an object, tilt it, and quickly move it around the area.
āRemember, the more objects there are in the world, the longer the game takes to load. Use the mod wisely.

You can place an object anywhere, even if it is protected from changes, using the "Call Object" function.
You can use the ready-made list, which contains some frequently used objects, or call them yourself from the purchase mode by entering the original name of the object in the field.
Another option is to save your favorite places to your list for quick access at any time.
šMOVE
Select any object and move it to the desired location. The instant transfer feature works anywhere in the world (except water).
š§ROTATION
The mod assigns new keyboard shortcuts. The selected object can be shifted, rotated, and tilted along all axes.
They work not only in the life mode, but also in the purchase mode (having previously placed the object on the ground).

I've polished a few things to make the mod more intuitive and user-friendly. Here's what changed:
Color Picker Instead of Numbers
Changing an object's color now opens a proper palette ā no more typing RGB values manually.
Less Clutter on Rabbit Holes
"Remember Height" and "Change Color" interactions no longer appear on rabbit holes (village outskirt, forest, etc.) where they didn't belong.
Helpful Hint on Mode Entry
When you enter Buy or Build mode, a notification now pops up explaining how to use the mod and listing all the hotkeys.
Hotkeys in Selection Message
The notification when you select an object now also includes the full hotkey list, so you always have them at your fingertips.
Localization Fixes
Cleaned up typos and inconsistencies in the English and Russian localization ā everything should read much smoother now.
Did you know the mod lets you create things that normally aren't possible? For example,Ā bunk beds! If you raise one bed with Builder Assistant and then place another one directly underneath using MoveObjects, both will function correctly. A sim will sleep on the top one as usual, and on the bottom one too - giving you a fully working bunk bed setup without any extra hassle.
You can alsoĀ sink a bed into the floorĀ to make a futon. Sims will sleep on it properly, and it looks incredibly cozy and unique. So much creative potential!
š„Ā Important Note About Hotkeys in Buy Mode
I know many of you aren't quite sure how to use the hotkeys correctly in Buy Mode. Here's the key rule:
Do NOT hold the object in your hand.Ā Pick it up with the hand tool, place it down - andĀ thenĀ the hotkeys will start working on it, and nothing will reset. While the object is still in your hand, any adjustments get reset, and unfortunately I haven't been able to fix that yet.
