HI there! My name is Margaret Shepard, your local towns wife and mother of Delaware. I am 24 years old, I've been married to my husband John Shepherd for 7 years and have 4 beautiful children; Alex, Eve,George,and Rosie.  I don’t really do much besides take care of the house, but I do however enjoy music,I love to sing and play my lyre my husband mad for me. I’m making this  blog to show you all my life and the inside look of the best middle colony, Delaware.

Hello everyone. It's been quite sometime since of last posted, almost 6 years! In fact exactly 6 years. The last time I posed was when John died...and I havent been the same since. I've gotten old and out of my time, my fingers can barely pluck the strings of my beloved lyre. My children are all grown up, the boys are taking after their fathers work and the girls are taking after mine. They are so wonderful and great at what they do. Me however, I am an old lady and quite to old to keep running this blog. This started when I was in my prime and I made the most out if this blog. I love every single one of you but it is my time to go... I love you all. Goodbye everyone

Hello everyone, Margaret here, I just wanted to inform you all that last night my husband John passed away in our home. I want to thank everyone who came out to visit him and the family, it truly ment a lot to us. John was my husband now for 24 years since I began this blog. He was an amazing man, always helping others, making everyone laugh, teaching the boys his ways, and being an over all amazing man. I hurts me to know that I will wake up from now on and never seeing my husband again. I will not he posting for quite some time, I am sorry. The burial will be tomorrow morning at 7am. Thank you for your love, patience, and prayers.

Hello everyone, today will not be a crop and cow update, a music show, or a family photo, I have some upsetting news to say. My husband John was assisting building a boat to help pass along traded goods when he got into an accident and feel off a 75ft staff mounting the boat. Luckily he survived but the local doctor said he most definitely wont make it through the next week. John broke his neck, lower half of his back, and many bones in his arms and legs. My fellow Catholics, keep my husband john in your prayers at night, for he and my children are all I have, I love him so dearly. I'm sorry to bare this sad news...

Hello everyone I'm here for a crop and cow update. My crops are growing in full form and they are making a lot of good bread and good money. My cows however are the problem! I have three beautiful cows and two out of the three of them are making bountiful pails of milk. One of the cows however, is refusing to squeeze even a drop! My girls and I uave been trying for months, she wont even let us get near her! We might sell her off or trade her to another barn, we cant afford to lose valuable milk time.

Everyone, look! My amazing husband john suprised the family and built a little farm house! With this we can buy some livestock, and I will have more room to grow my wheat and ingo! I so excited to add a new chore to my list, I love being busy. I too will also he teaching Rosie and Eve to manage the crops and cows when they are a bit older, so dont fret, they will he put to great work

Look at this beautiful family portrait! I love my family so much, such beautiful children, such a hardworking husband. This was painted a few months after my daughter rosie was born. Its wonderful to see how much we all have grown together, and non of us are dead yet! I'm so grateful for each one of them and grateful for all my wonder freinds. Delaware is such an amazing community to love in and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Thanks Peter Minuit!
