I want Soap to be gradually tired, serious, and eventually scarred while Ghost becomes more motivational to Soap and kinda carrying the motivation in the relationship with his quirks on Soap.

As a GhostSoap shipper for both 2009 and Reboot MW2. I like seeing a pattern of Soap and Ghost always pushing each other forwards when the other starts to feel drained or needing to get some rust out. Even so they still keep their traits that make them unique and strong.

Who else has a sharp bone to the back influence and motivation like Ghost? And who can keep themselves enduring and slipping through missions like Soap? And they love each other for those quirks and others.

Ghost: Depends on the type of hero Soap

Soap: Well Lt… I believe in good men that lead their comrades. Good men that always await their brothers in arms.

Ghost: Hm… Likewise *looks at Soap*

Ghost: *continues to stare at Soap, and softly puts his hands over Johnny’s shoulder*

Ghost: …. *growls underneath then grips Soap’s shoulders by his side* You are as well Captain. I believe in good men that can adapt to new situations, I believe in good men that always consider their options, and… I believe in good like you that can grow and become better than their superiors.
