Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo Dendrolagus goodfellowi

They are native to the rainforests of New Guinea. Goodfellow's tree-kangaroos are slow and clumsy on the ground, moving at about walking pace and hopping awkwardly, leaning their bodies far forward to balance the heavy tail. However, in trees they are bold and agile. They climb by wrapping the forelimbs around the trunk of a tree and hopping with the powerful hind legs, allowing their forelimbs to slide. They have extraordinary jumping ability and have been known to jump to the ground from heights of 9 metres (30 ft) without harm.

Kloss's Gibbon Hylobates klossii

Also known as the Mentawai gibbon, the bilou or dwarf siamang. They exclusively live on the Mentawai Islands that lie to the west of Sumatra. Kloss's gibbon are unique gibbons because the two sexes do not vocalize songs in unison. Male Kloss's gibbon sing before the sun rises and female Kloss's gibbon vocalize songs once the sun has risen. Female Kloss's gibbon calls are unique and have slight variations in the different stages of the call. The calls emitted by the females could offer other members of the species information about their position in the canopy.
