The Philippines has been hit with several typhoons just this month alone, and is expected to be hit with several more before the year is out. Typhoon Vamco (or Ulysses, as it is known here) has left many Filipinos still stranded without food or water. Our streets and houses are flooded. Some are completely submerged. The power is still out in some places. We have suffered casualties.

To my fellow Filipinos, let's not forget that the administration failed us today. Where is our president in this time of need? Where is our leader?

From cutting our calamity budget by billions to allowing the defacing of the Sierra Madre mountain range for the construction of the Kaliwa Dam, they have proven time and time again that they do not care about their people or climate change. Hold them accountable.
