Hey there, I'm Mar! He/They pronouns, please. I'm a digital artist and fanfic writer, though I hope to eventually get back to making music as well. Maractus is my favorite pokemon (shocking, I know.)

I mostly tend to post Pokemon related things, though I also love Octopath, Sonic, Hollow Knight, Stardew Valley, Rain World, Terraria, Beastieball, Cassette Beasts, and Cult of the Lamb. Also some others I'm probably forgetting.
I also make a lot of original stuff too! I'm currently working on a visual novel in the background, more on that soon!
Before you follow me, please take a moment to read the following;
Don't compare my original works to existing properties. This is a pet peeve of mine, and doing so will result in a block.
The content I create is inherently canon divergent, and I rarely follow established fanon. I'm aware that isn't everyone's favorite, but I create for myself. If you like it too, that's a bonus!
Due to some circumstances in my own life there might be times where I don't post for a while. Expect the occasional hiatus.
If you have questions about my characters or plots, please ask! I'm more than happy to talk about them and would love to examine them from angles I might not have thought of!
EDIT: I've realized my rule about comparisons is really really vague and that's created uncertainty of where the boundary actually lies. That's my bad and i apologize for that!
If a comparison has genuine thought put into it, I don't mind! It's when you're comparing something I made to something else purely off of name and/or appearance alone that irks me.
If you say a character I wrote reminds you of a character from a piece of media because of the way they act, the way I write them, even the way I draw them or anything like that I'm okay with it! I took inspiration from other media to make my own stuff so you might even be picking out something that inspired me, and that's cool!
It's when people point at a character of mine and go "oh theyre named (insert name here?) Like (insert random other character that just happens to have the same name?)" and similar things that really bothers me. I hope this helps!
