Guilherme Taucci Monteiro:
Guilherme Taucci Monteiro was born on July 5th, 2001 in Mogi Das Cruzes, Brazil. He lived with his grandparents and his two sisters. He did have an older brother, although he didn't live with the family. His mother, Tatiana Taucci, was an addict and his father was never really around. His mother being an addict likely influenced his anti-drug feelings. A few things he had strong feelings against were animal cruelty, necrophilia, and he was seemingly against the government.
Some things Taucci seemed to enjoy was drawing, music such as slipknot, video games, nazism, and the horror genre. He would draw weapons, creepypasta characters/references, and even Freddy fazbear at a point. Another interest he gained was cases such as the Columbine High School massacre. Taucci seemed to like the idea of a school shooting, enough to eventually carry out his own. He got money through side jobs. His room consisted of a computer, a bunk bed, and a TV. Taucci began to be bullied at school, which caused him to leave the Professor Raul Brasil State School. People did not like him very much and he claimed that he had no friends. Some claim that he was never bullied, but I wouldn't put it past people to be mean to him. Him not being bullied would not make sense, because at a point he had gotten into a fight with another boy who made fun of him. He then reported the boy but, like most cases, the bully received seemingly no consequences. Luiz's dad got him a job that earned him a low amount of cash but it was enough to help out around the house. He ended up jobless after a while, causing him to begin to work for his uncle, Jorge AntΓ΄nio de Moraes. He had a car shop. Taucci would be fired 2 months in. After the death of Arlete, his grandmother, in 2018, Taucci would help take care of his younger sisters. She died 4 months prior to the attack. He had a mental decline after this point. At least one job he worked was at a hot dog stand, were he made 600 reais or about 114 dollars. He was a frequent online shopper. 5 days before the attack, Taucci would post himself shooting a bow and arrow at a target. There is surveillance video of them in the shooting range.
Luiz Henrique de Castro was born on March 16, 1993. He lived with his older brother, his 2 parents, and his grandfather. He worked as a gardener.
He enjoyed video games, weapons, sports, and a previous massacre in Brazil. He attended Professor Raul Brasil State School for one year before leaving to go to a different school. He is described as a fairly calm and nice guy. There's not much information on him.
Luiz and Taucci had been friends since they were children. They apparently lived on the same street growing up. The two boys would hang out fairly often at malls, internet cafΓ©s, and other places around the area. A third friend, Guilherme Grilo, joined them in planning a mass shooting. Grilo would grow to be disliked by Staucci and they fought often. This caused the 2 to leave him out of the shooting in the end. They posted online about their attack prior to it. They bought many supplies for the attack through online stores. They had a white car they used pretty often. Taucci had bought the gun for 1,500 reais, or around 300 american dollars. This weapon was illegally sold to him online
The boys had claimed they wanted to do a massacre bigger than columbine, eith more victims. The event had been in the works for a year and a half (18 months). The boys also were seen wearing a swastika pin before the attack.
March 13th, 2019: The day of the attack, Taucci posted around 20 photos of himself holding his gun while wearing a skull mask on his Facebook page. He posted on a forum thanking people for their help in planning the attack. Then he made his way to the car shop that his uncle Jorge worked at. Taucci made his way inside and called out for Jorge, who was taking a call at the time. Taucci fatally shot him. He then left.
It's suspected Luiz attempted to kill his neighbor, so he had fought with, but could not find him. It was allegedly a part of a plan beforehand. The boys had met up and they arrived at the school together. At the school, Taucci went inside. Luiz would run inside the school after.
TAUCCI: At 9:30 am, taucci entered the school, dropped an item near a plant pot, turned and opened fire on a group of people. The survivors run and there is a body laying on the floor. He heads out of the room, dropping his bag on the way. It appears this killed 3 people. It seems that he went down a small flight of stairs and either he or luiz killed another person who was near the stairs.
LUIZ: After he has fled the room, Luiz comes in and places his bag on the floor. He tosses a crossbow on the ground. opening it and pulling out a hatchet. He then proceeds to hit the body laying nearby with it several times. He then rushes to another body in the hallway that leads to the room and hits the body too. He begins to mess with his pant leg and a woman runs into the room. He grabs her and begins to beat her. A group of people enter the room and he lets go of the woman. He attempts to grab the crossbow but the crowd runs into him. He slashes at them with his axe but a man grabs him and they lightly push each other before luiz is pushed off to the side. More people enter and run through the door. He runs out the same way Taucci left the room.
A teacher claims that βToday is your day to dieβ was shouted during the attack. Police apparently recieved around 69 calls to the school within the first 5 minutes.
During the massacre, 5 students were killed. 2 adults who worked at school had been shot as well. Taucci would shoot Luiz in a hallway. Some claim this was part of a pact created beforehand. Taucci would then turn the gun on himself. This brings the total death toll to 10.
