I need help finding a comic/short story that’s been on my mind for YEARS, so much so I’ve made a DnD character based around this comic I can no longer find and really wish I could show my friends the inspiration for her!
It was a black and white comic, little to no gray
A girl walking in nightwear through a palace.
She’s talking about how she’s always been told she’s beautiful
And she stops at large portrait of her mother and father
Holding a candle to view it as the large frame comes into view.
She talks about how if she was beautiful, then why doesn’t she look like her mother? Her mother is beautiful, why doesn’t she hide like the princess has to?
And then we finally see the princess’s face and how she has scaled hands and feet that glimmer in the candle light
She thinks about how she’s been told her scales are beautiful, so beautiful they must be hidden from the public.
