The reddit sub for Tre is really trying hard to spread Rashta was a minor propaganda despite people pointing out Rashta is an adult in official Korean Wikipedia. Also the story would have tagged underage if that was the case. I understand hating Sovieshu but y'all doing too much over a fictional character while using real life problem. Calling any fictional character a pedo you don't like is actually harmful for real life victims as it dilutes the meaning.
Edit: since some of you like to act slick, Rashta's age in Korean wiki is 20-22. SK legal age starts at 20, not 18. So if Rashta was 18, it'd still be tagged as underage.
oghhhh rashta mention after 103939392929 chapters
Rashta sells lebetti to slavery
Antis: see? I told you she's evil Look at that slave selling her former abuser to give a taste of their own medicine. How date she?
Birdshit heinly sells literal kids to slavery
Antis: *cricket sounds* or he did it for Navier/it's common back then
Alphatart had to kill Rashta before introducing dolshi bc they knew their joint slay would be too much to handle

The Remarried empress fandom is practically a cult.
If it isn't the very pro-monarchy storyline that gets me, its the fans and how they idolize its protagonist and everyone else who supports her, this normally wouldn't be an issue if it didn't reach the point of condoning literal slavery.
The way the fans of this comic act is straight up disturbing, part of me thinks remarried empress might even be propaganda to push imperialism and monarchies. The characters you're supposed to root for are all horrible people such as a slave owner who is regarded as a cute fangirl, the ML who is a king with an annoying uwu persona that also steals from mages and kills innocent people, a grand duke is so obsessed with Navier he becomes a creep who goes around passing date-rape love potions like candy, and a brother who violates another woman's autonomy by slipping her abortion drugs but they never face consequences and if they do, its portrayed as something unfair caused by the evil women who get in Navier's way.
speaking of which lets talk about how any other woman in this story who is powerful and above Navier in some way is immediately villainized. the mistress Rashta is a former slave who was sold by her father, abused by her masters, one of them sexually assaults her as well (the narrative tries to say Rashta consented even though a slave can't say no to someone who owns them) and ends up severely traumatized after her baby is taken away and replaced with a dead one. Already off to a rough start for someone we are supposed to see as a one dimensional villain.
in the beginning chapters, Navier's ladies in waiting are already ridiculing Rashta before she even did anything all for being a slave who dared to become the Emperors mistress and hurt the feelings of their perfect empress, how could that slave not worship our empress!? What a wench!. later the narrative justifies making a slave the ultimate evil by making her into someone who "seduced" the Emperor and is ultimately written as a evil moron who is the true villain using her body to charm the poor little noblemen. (Ugh..) In the end her character is basically to be a punching bag for Navier to girl boss back into place and she dies alone in a prison cell as the most evil empress in history.
Then there's Krista, a queen dowager who didn't really like Navier but never went as far beyond snubbing her and letting rumors spread, bad but nothing too horrible, and when she sends a gift one of Navier's ladies in waiting gets all upset and asks if she can toss the gift out, its played off as a joke but it becomes clear it's supposed to tell readers that Krista is a mean mean woman for not adoring the MC.
Then when Krista is becoming too independent for the authors liking they begin to ruin her character by having pine after Heinrey, weird as hell but it could've worked if she was actually utilized as a villain and not a bug that needs to be squashed, she then gets blamed for letting Heinrey rest on her lap even though Kaufman was the one who drugged Heinrey while Krista didn't know, she's disgraced and later killed off while Heinrey proceeds to make the rest of her family suffer in the long run as well. And yet fans practically celebrated her death.
The comments are honestly the worst part, nothing but "Trashta has nothing on our queen! 😍" and "Navier is such a true girlboss! go away Trashta! 🤢" there are chapters where characters like Heinrey literally say that he'll torture people who don't like Navier and the comments are all just "Awww he's such an upgrade from Sovieshit, what a soft boy he is!" ffs it honestly feels like a cult where Navier is the god and all her supporters are her apostles.
The message is clear: you MUST like Navier! If you don't then it makes you a bad guy worthy of death row, and it doesn't take much either, all you need to do if talk a little shit about Navier and boom, her hubby has your mouth with rocks and sewn shut (yes this actually happened and it's never talked about again) if Rashta did something like that she'd be getting flamed, I'm even willing to bet if it was Heinrey who mutilated Delice the comments would either be full of cheap excuses for him or they just would give him a slap on the wrist.
I really wanted to like Remarried empress but I honestly can't anymore with the hypocrisy. Navier isn't even very likeable anymore since all she does now is react to everything and either condone what people do in her name or just not caring, so much for an empress who loves her subjects.
Rashta is a tagic character like Opehilia
And both are victims of patriarchy and men.
Sold as a slave by her father as a child.
Used by Alan and later got abandoned after getting pregnant by him.
Her relationship with Sovieshu matches with Ophelia and Hamlet in many ways. He was her first true love. Ophelia gave Hamlet her virginity, While Rashta pretended to be a virgin with Sovieshu, she gave Sovieshu her heart for the first time in her life. And when she found out, he doesn't really love her, that's when everything started the crumble down. That was the last thread that was holding her down to sane world. She was already inching towards madness after her first pregnancy, than being separated from her second baby (we saw her singing like a mad woman with a doll). She already lost her mind but the illusion of Sovieshu's love for her, was holding her down but when he denied of ever loving her, her world crumbled down. Both her and Ophelia suffered from erotomania, and their sexuality plays a big role in their lives.
Ophelia wasn't tormented by her father or brother like Rashta. Rashta was tormented by her former slaver owner lotteshu before and after her becoming the empress. The man that traumatized her from her first pregnancy. But Rashta followed his orders out of fear, Ophelia followed them out of obedience and trusting their judgment. Ergi kinda plays similar role to Polonius and Lesertas. Both parties using women to profit from their targeted man (Sovieshu, Hamlet).
Ergi also misguiding her, laying traps for her and ultimately playing a big role in her down fall. Ergi also somewhat carries the role of Hamlet (disdain for women and their frailty)
All of her biggest offenders and helpers were men. There was no significant woman's touch in her life. Due to patriarchy, women were portrayed as her biggest enemies supported by Lebetti's actions, noble women looking down on her and men's treatment towards because of her beauty and women feeling threatened by it.
She was isolated from women surrounding her.
And when the only woman that tried to help her (Aryan), Rashta was already driven mad, paranoid by the men in her life and she committed a horrible thing.
Her death is equally tragic like Ophelia. Ophelia's death is debated between accident and suicide. But both of their deaths were influenced by the tragedy surrounding her.
Ophelia is loved, because she's a perfect victim. She doesn't stand in the way of the protagonist like Rashta. Even though Ophelia spied on Hamlet, following her father's order, she's still loved (rightfully so).
But Rashta is hated both by the narration and readers because she's not a perfect victim and she stands in the way of protagonist.
She's not a submissive character like Ophelia, rather she bites back, lashes out, acts like the monster they created.
I'm not saying Rashta and Ophelia are same but they're both victims of patriarchy. And both faced tragic ending because of it.
(This needs broader discussion and explanation but that's for another day).
I wonder how the story would feel if it started from Rashta's childhood and ended with her death. A grey protagonist with unstable mind, a narration that doesn't excuse her behavior but doesn't vilify her either. I think if some author that has a good grasp on human nature and isn't narrow minded, can do justice to Rashta's character or a write a character inspired by her.
The author of TRE created a gem of a character named Rashta but unfortunately, Rashta was too much of a complex character for the author to handle her well. But I do give her credit for giving us Rashta
AU where Rashta lives and remains the Empress of the East, and Sovieshu adopts Ian for random reasons
The garden of the Western Palace gleamed beneath the midday sun. White and crimson roses lined the perfumed paths, and the air swelled with the murmur of guests and the distant harmony of a violin and cello duet.
Kai wandered about with a basket slung over his shoulder. Several roses were still left to deliver, but his enthusiasm had faded ever since Lari —with a suspiciously sweet smile— convinced him to hand out hers as well, which was practically an entire bouquet compared to the single rose he had given before the blackmail.
Looking for distraction, he slipped between the hedges until something caught his attention.
A few meters away, a lady was playing with her son beside the pond. He could only see her back, bent down to pick up a ball the boy had dropped. There was something dreamlike in her aura —in the calm way she laughed, in how the air itself seemed gentler around her— that made Kai stop in his tracks.
At least, he thought, he could hand out three roses at once.
He ran toward her and, his voice trembling with excitement, called out: —“Lady!”
The woman turned, and for a moment, time seemed to stop. Kai couldn’t tell if it was her gaze or the serenity she radiated, but there was something about her that made one want to speak kindly, even without knowing her. She was the kind of “beautiful woman” who made words come out pure.
She looked like the angels from the fairytales his sister used to read—though, of course, no one could ever surpass his mother, the most important and beautiful woman in his life.
He lifted the rose solemnly. —“A rose for the lady ”
She laughed softly, her sweetness melting away any trace of awkwardness he might have caused with his loud voice.
—“What a well-mannered boy…” she said, accepting the flower. “What’s your name?”
Kai puffed out his chest. —“I’m the future Emperor of the West, His Highness Kai Lazlo Trovi.”
—“Really?” she asked, her eyes glimmering with nostalgia. “You’ve grown so much. When I first heard of you, you were barely the size of a toy .”
The boy looked at her with curiosity.
—“You’ve seen me before? I don’t remember you… and I’m good at remembering faces.”
Rastha smiled with faint hesitation. —“And you, who do you think I am?”
Kai scratched his head, thinking. Before he could answer, the lady’s son ran back with the ball, clinging to his mother’s skirt and staring at Kai with open suspicion.
—“Who’s that ugly boy, Mama?”
—“I’m not ugly!” Kai shouted, his cheeks flaring red.
Rastha couldn’t hold back a light laugh, and for a moment, the air filled with petals and the echo of childhood.
The decorations of the palace

omg I too, slander the remarried empress. What do you mean Navier is besties with a SLAVE OWNER??!
☠️🥂
False allegations against Sovieshu:
Once again the "Rashta was underage" has made appearance. Seriously same recycled false information. I'm begging y'all stop getting your information from reddit and read the novel or visit the Korean official wiki for Rashts. She's 20-22. An adult human being. Sovieshu calling her cute doesn't mean she's underage. Sovieshu calls birdpoop heinly as "the kid" who's a grown man. Soviesu also didn't call Rashta kid. Y'all can't be this dense. He has many faults but being a groomer isn't one of them.
"Another one is didn't rescue out of goodness but only because she was pretty "
Dude literally helped her because she was in need and admitted that he'd have rescued anyone in that position. Which actually made Rashta sad cause she thought he loved her from the first meeting when in reality Sovieshu was doing what a good emperor should do: help his subjects.
"He lied to her about his plans and used her as incubator"
Once again please read the book or webtoon instead of skimming comments from reddit. He didn't even plan to make her a concubine until she asked him to and then she became pregnant which surprised him too (as he preciously thought both him and Navier could be infertile). He wasn't some scheming dude twirling his mustache about using Rashta. He was clear with her from the beginning that she'd be an empress for 1 year. Rashta was fully aware of it and even thought in future she could change his mind by getting pregnant once again, as Sovieshu wouldn't divorce his pregnant wife. Sovieshu his his plans from Navier, not from Rashta.
"He separated his baby from her like an evil dude"
Are we forgetting that Rashta was suffering from past trauma and for that reason she threw baby Gloryem on the floor!!!??? That's literally child endangerment. Sovieshu removing Gloryem was being anything but good father acting concerned for their kid. Rashta was in broken mental state, unfit to take care of gloryem. Even by modern standard, CPS would have removed that child from her. Rashta was in tragic situation caused by her past trauma. It's a sad situation but what Sovieshu did was totally understandable by removing their baby from her.
Criticize that man for valid reasons. There's plenty! But giving false allegations will only harm Rashta.
And pedophilia is a serious issue like slavery that shouldn't be used in sentences like it's a light subject. It's a disservice to real victims. Let's not be like those birdshit defenders who defends everything he does including him selling children to slavery.
Rashta was an adult woman with faults but that doesn't mean she wasn't a tragic character either. Sovieshu was a horrible man but that doesn't mean everything he does was horrible. They're grey characters with both good and bad in them.
Not people claiming Rashta is 16-17 now and Heinly being 24-25. Y'all don't read 😭
Rashta and Birdpoop are of same age, probably her being slightly older. Heiny was 19 when he met Sovieshu and Navier. Was planning against Sovieshu for five years (since age of 14). He's five years younger than Navier.
I wish they colored her hair white instead red. Rashta is iconic for her white hair. But I'll take what I can get. And judging from the clips, Rashta would be accompanied by an older woman (a new character that's not in the og story). I'm intrigued how it'll play out.
On side note: Rashta and Heinly's actors played lovers in another drama. Same goes for Sovieshu and Navier's actors
On another side not: Sovieshu's actor is hot
Rashta and Sovieshubwill have good chemistry for sure (please let them end up together in this version, Rashta wanted Sovieshu, she deserves a happy ending for once! 😭)

Girls who have every right to burn everything to the ground
Lynette denying reality
It's unbelievable that Lynette continues to refuse to acknowledge that Kanna has always been a victim of sexual and physical abuse at the hands of the baron.
But Lynette is incapable of feeling even a shred of pity for the girl who was supposedly her beloved little sister in the original timeline. For her, Kanna is always a greedy villain who unjustly tormented her, an innocent noblewoman, solely out of jealousy. Not because her father, the baron, raped and beat Kanna while Lynette turned a blind eye to her adopted sister's suffering.
Her death is entirely due to Kanna's machinations to steal her man. It has nothing to do with her having murdered the crown prince of the country, for no other reason than to make her boyfriend king.
Does this bitch have any self-awareness?I
t's unbelievable that Lynette still has the audacity to use Kanna as a scapegoat. Even though it's clear that most of the misfortune that befell her and her family is their own fault. If they weren't such selfish, delusional, cruel, violent, and entitled idiots, the whole thing could have been avoided.
Kanna is absolutely right.
She and Lynette are exactly alike!
I remind everyone that Lyette seduced the man she murdered in the first timeline. Supposedly "for envelopes."
Damn it, if Lyette didn't want to be roasted alive again, she simply had to stay away from Argos and keep the pedophile baron away from Kanna. But this idea never crosses her mind, because it would mean admitting that his death was partly her fault for her crime, and that she was a terrible sister to Kanna, who always preferred to ignore her suffering.
