this is the next biggest and most important concept to harribel after that of sacrifice. because what need does someone have to sacrifice something, if first there is no loyalty? nothing is accomplished alone, there is infinite power to be found in numbers and connectedness. and for this reason, she’s fiercely loyal to anyone affiliated with herself, in any way. if they are good enough to stand on the same side, they are good enough to have earned it.

she’s had many, given her circumstances. perhaps the most profound was when she turned into a vasto lorde, and came into the mindset that she no longer needed to consume souls to grow stronger. it was such a weight off her shoulders, she wasn’t even aware of the load her soul had been carrying. it simply was not something she craved to do, and when the act was deemed unnecessary… she stopped. just like that. it was such a beautiful happening for her.

something so ingrained in her soul that without it, she’d be a hollow shell of nothing. harribel is an old soul, having taken the time to start as your basic brainless hollow, to fighting her way up to a vasto lorde class menos, before aizen was even in the picture. she’s had consciousness and self control for a very long time, and because of this her mind and the animal that she used to be are entirely in tune with each other. her actions aren’t as methodical as they may seem. she runs on auto pilot most of the time, being lost in her own thoughts. instinct is what gets her through the day.

she’s unsure of the true face of the world around her, and this is something that plagues her.
