I made some bitmoji pins for my friends. While I like how they both turned out, I did mess up on the finale step for the one on the right side. I tried to speed up the dry time for the gloss but and it ended up lifting pulling my drawing off the plastic. I tried filling in the lines and re-glossing it, so hopefully it comes out okay.

Hey, love your semi apple tutorial. Mind explaining what you use to color the apple red? 😊😊 😊
Thanks :D For the red color I used cheap acrylic paint from Michaels craft store, mixed with Golden Acrylic Mediums Gloss to give it extra strength.

How I Make Flocking Powder
I always remember seeing this at Micheal's but never knowing what I would do with it if I bought it. It wasn't until I saw a tutorial on YouTube where it was used to make a fuzzy animal charm, that I saw the use for it. While it isn't expensive to buy especially if you have coupons, an idea came to me on making my own, since all the craft stores I go to are a far away. Okay, so lets start.
What you need:
Scissors
Container or zip lock bag
Chenille Stems (Craft Pipe Cleaners)
Step 1: Cut the the edges of the furry part of the pipe cleaner
Step 2: It can get messy so place it into your bag or container after your done cutting the first stem
Step 3: Repeat until you get the amount you want.
Step 4: Is to have fun with it, you can use it for your nails, special occasion cards and even polymer clay or anything you can think of.
Note: There are easier methods of doing this like using yarn, stain fabric or ribbon but I had the pipe cleaners sitting in my room for a year and decided it was time to do something with it.

How to Make a Cherry Blossom Bow Holder
Hey everyone so awhile back (June) my last math assignment was to learn how to make a picture frame. So as you can see in the picture above, that's the frame I turned into a bow holder because I didn't know what to with it. So I hope you enjoy this tutorial it's a bit text and picture heavy.

How I Color Translucent Clay
Hey everyone so this post is actually very simple but I must state that if you want to get the best results you have to know which translucent clay is good for you. From my experience premo white translucent gives off the best results, regular translucent permo....while how should I say this :( it sucks it's just not that great. If you want the higher quality, you can use brands like Pardo or Cernit, you can see this review I found for more info click here
Okay so lets start:
What you need:
Translucent White Clay if your using a sculpey brand
Soap colorant, food coloring or alcohol ink for best results
The reason why I don't mix colored clay with translucent is because for example if I was to mix red clay with translucent it won't bake red but instead will come out pink or another color that is not translucent red. Whenever I use red soap colorant on my translucent clay, it bakes translucent red. I hope you can understand where I'm getting at.
Step 1: Roll out any amount of the clay you want and flatten it. You really have to make sure that your hands and the surface around you is clean because the liquid from the colorant is going to make the clay soft.
Step 2: Add a drop of the liquid to your clay mix it and then repeat this step until the color appears to your liking.
Step 3: Mold your clay into any shape you want then bake according to the brand's instructions, for me it's usually 30 minutes at 275 degrees Fahrenheit (135 degrees Celsius)
And this is how it should turn out; the colors seem very elegant to me :)

What Do You Do With Fabric Squares?
Coming Soon: click here
So recently my mother was picking out clothes around the house to give to my soon to be mother in law who's planning to go back to Nigeria, while doing so she found a ton of African fabric samples (cloths) that I've long be asking for. Here and there she would occasionally had me some when the company who she orders from would come and visit her at the shop. We don't get a lot of this anymore because the company has an online store where can order from.
The picture doesn't do justice
Before this I had about 20-30 fabric squares now I have over 100, I haven't counted but if you look at the basket you'll see the that it's pretty much obvious :) For now I plan on making bows and earrings, they're also big enough to make wallets but right now my sewing machine skills is at level 0. I'll try to learn how to use the machine before the end of the summer so I can work on more advance projects.
Please let me know what you think I should make by leaving a comment or sending a message through the ask box.
