i changed platforms to discord rp for the simple reason of resources. i don’t need to make up a theme that’s the newest trend or use gifs/icons and i can format easier and less fancy, just the basics. i don’t need everything you need for tumblr rp. i don’t need to pay for anything to roleplay. i can focus on just the writing. that’s what this community should be at it’s core. and it’s so obviously been torn away from that for years. if you don’t want rp to die, look at how it’s structured right now. look at what’s important. if it’s not writing, then we’re not roleplaying anymore.

Yeah...not sure how anyone would think an adult equating a trans teen's discomfort about someone bringing up a series written by a transphobe on his post with dumb ship wars is funny unless they're a fucking idiot. The Drarry edition to his post was whatever, but making the "We found a dramione shipper" post in response to him being upset was a shitty thing to do. It's not even about "people can enjoy problematic content :(" it's about you being a fucking weirdo and dismissing a trans teen's feelings about having people talk about a transphobe's work on his post. Nostalgia about fictional ships and shipping wars is not a good excuse lmao

Hey there! That was sarcasm, I truly have no interest in any drama. I didn’t make any comment about the author of that book series and in fact don’t agree with her transphobic views. But people are capable of enjoying a fandom while acknowledging there’s problematic parts in its origin. The post reminded me of all the drarry shipper stuff I used to see on my dash ten years ago and I got nostalgic so I made a joke,m. If someone didn’t like it that’s fine, we all find different things funny. It didn’t require a “sic em” tag or any drama. Idk why we’re trying to start drama over a joke.

Just learned this kid is 17, removing because I don’t want to interact with minors. This was all in good fun on my part but seems better to remove this nonetheless.
