I have a new logo! 

I keep the girl from my past ones and the main difference is... now it’s my personal hand-lettering. yes, it’s mine and at first I felt so exposed! It was like I was showing my underwear (and not the new one - haha!). But now I’m feeling in peace with it and I can totally see myself on each curve, which makes me smile. :)  Here is my small logo revolution since I became an Artist. 

 I have a new site! :) 

I spent the summer planning and working on my site. Means moving stuff around, updating and trying to give it some  more... “professional look”. I’m completely in love with my new theme - Mood by Misspato. It looks like my previous one - PopGalery also from her - but with this flow that brings a sort of joy to my art. Also it’s more responsive - which is essencial these days, right? Hope you do like the new look!   Of course, as a portfolio, it’s a permanent work in progress and I can’t wait to add more artworks!

I entered on Global Talent Search - GTS - by Lilla Rogers Studio again this year but I didn’t go through the 1st round. Last year was a huge surprise that I was on the top 50 artists - tho I really had put my heart and soul on that piece. Anyway, this time I admit I didn’t give 110% (as Lilla likes to say). But I did a pattern that was in my mind for a long time and I want so badly make it. It’s amazing feeling when you can “put on paper” exactly how something is on your mind. So, yes, I’m kind proud of myself on that. Also, I have so many plans in my mind right now that GTS wasn’t a priority. Hope write more about later.

My Idea: I’m not huge fan of bugs but I admit they can have fun colours! My idea was that bugs could be like flowers in a garden without flowers because of their colours. And of course everything starts with pencil and paper...

I didn’t have much time, so I didn’t use pen on that... just skip to digital.

The assignment: GTS briefing ask for a sneakers to a target/character - who was Antoinette, a young girl that loves ride a bicycle and owns a vintage shop. Again.. new challenge. I’m not a “sneakers” girl at all. I have none! So not my cup of tea. I had fun doing research tho! So many beautiful colours and combination out there!

At the beginning of the year, I had this amazing contact with Mafuá Kids - a super cute Brazilian shop that had the brave plan of rebranding itself plus include some exclusive products with my art! - yay! First we update her logo ( I posted about here), we went through a small project and right after we jumped into Woodland. 

She knew what she wanted and the whole creation process went very smooth. It’s really helpful and rewarding too when the cliente love your art plus is good in make decisions.  Me, I just had tons of fun sketching, creating and even made more options that we previous discuss.  How amazing is that? 

Mafuá Kids bought my art and was responsible to find a manufacture to make the products. She did it all by herself! So amazing! I specially love the animal pillows and of course, the notebooks (since I’m a paper lover) here are some of the cute products you can find on the online shop (exclusive in Brazil - sorry rest of the world)
