✧ — ⋆ Huey stares up at Wakko with wide eyes, his breathing laboured as the magic intensifies around him. He can barely move, it’s so overbearing, his head pounding and his stomach pounding. His own magic has never been challenged like this before and it hurts.

           “ Pl-please, Wakko, I’m- I’m sorry. I’ll- I’ll help you get your siblings back, I’ll even find you all a place to be together, just- just stop, please. I-it hu-hurts.” He curls up more, trying to shield his body from Wakko, anything to protect himself. Anything to make it hurt less, but it doesn’t. 

If anything it only gets worse, and he lets out a small cry as it does. “ Pl-please- ”

     Wakko didn’t want to do this. He was still doing it though. Of course he was, a Warner just couldn’t forget about it when they were slighted. And huey had slighted him worse than anyone. 

     But even still, the sounds of his cries and pleas hurt. They hurt deep in his chest, gnawing at the marrow of his ribcage as it pressed bony splinters against his heart.       Huey was his friend. No, he’d been more than that. And now here they were, the little duck begging for him to stop. Not because he wanted to fix things though. He was only offering those things because he was hurting.
