Art post for Under the Greek Sun by @macy2me and @malicmalic for @destielaureversebb !!!!!
Years ago, Dean and his family visited the Greek island of Crete. With plenty of unsupervised days, Dean and his brother spent their summer exploring, unsure why the boy who lived there hated them.
Years ago, Castiel’s world shattered when his father disappeared. With no other choice, his mother rented out their family home to tourists, forcing them into a small shed at the back of the property.
Today, Dean returns to the island where he spent every summer, this time for work and not the blue-eyed man who once stole his heart.
Today, Cas works in his family restaurant, content with life, until, after years of silence, the one who broke his heart returns to the island.
If you love summer vibe fics with lots of angst, give it a go!!! Both Macy and Malic did such an incredible job and this story is so close to my heart, highly highly recommend!!!

Summary: At a very young age, Cas was bitten by a dog. At the time he was scared and traumatized, but had no real grasp of how that attack would affect his life.
Years later, Cas is trudging through life. He has a simple, unimportant job, a small apartment and nobody but his cousin to annoy him from time to time. And no matter what he tries, he can’t find his soulmate. Because his soulmark is nothing but a smear of colors under a scar.
Everything changes when one day, he stumbles upon a lost, hungry dog. He doesn’t know why he feels so drawn to it, especially considering his fear of canines, but there is just something about the dog’s green eyes that simply pulls him in. He does the unthinkable - he takes the dog in, feeds it and gives it a home.
Little does he know that little act of kindness will change his life forever.
Sneak Peek: Cas finds himself frozen in place, staring at the dog before him, paralyzed with fear. His heart is hammering in his chest and he can feel his skin growing hot as he starts to sweat. Even though the dog does nothing but observe him curiously as it lies on some cardboard next to the dumpster, Cas still can't help the anxiety that is growing within him with every passing second.
For a moment he is thrown back into the past, over twenty years ago, when he was just a small, happy child, playing around in the park. He can almost smell the scent of the fresh cut grass and taste the ice cream he had prior. He was such a foolish child who thought dogs were interesting and he wanted to pet one. The bite mark on the inside of his forearm throbs as he remembers the look in the dog’s eyes and the sudden attack.
The dog that's in front of him now shifts, and Cas’ focus is brought back to the present. He tries to make himself breathe, tells himself he is much larger than the dog now and could either stop it or outrun it. He sucks in a breath when the light brown dog sniffs the air, but relaxes marginally when it lowers its head to the ground and closes its eyes.
This one needed an accompanying story, so below the cut you can read about it in my first fic:
Feathers and Iron
Dean’s toothy grin was unnerving, even to Castiel, who had seen all number of disturbing things, including Dean torturing souls in hell.
“Rattle those chains all you want, Cas,” Dean sneered, “I’m not going to release you”
Castiel continued to pull at his handcuffs, ignoring Dean’s comment. The metal rubbed against the thin fur of his wrists and cut into his skin. Castiel’s already half-bare wings weren’t faring much better, clamped shut and strung up at an uncomfortable angle by their own bindings. Even if he weren’t bound by supernatural handcuffs, in his weakened state, Castiel may not have been able to break out of his restraints. He was no better than an ordinary cat at this point.
“Dean, you can still be saved. Let us finish—"
“Did you ever consider that I may not want to be saved,” Dean interrupted. “What if I like being a demon? What if I enjoy the power, the freedom?”
“This is the Mark talking. You don’t really want that, I know you, Dean,” professed Castiel.
Dean circled around Castiel to face him. “How do you know that? How can you be sure that I don’t want this, Cas?” Dean shouted as his eyes flashed inky black.
Castiel fell silent. He turned his gaze toward Sam, who lay unconscious in the corner of the dungeon, a syringe of human blood held limply in his paw. Sam had been overpowered by his brother before Castiel had arrived. If Dean had really wanted to hurt his brother, he could have killed him by now.
“I don’t believe you really intend to hurt us, to hurt me,” finally replied Castiel, as he stared up into Dean’s eyes defiantly.
“You think I’m not going to hurt you? I’m a demon! You’re an angel! Albeit a sorry excuse for one,” Dean snarled, pressing in toward Castiel, intensifying their eye contact for what felt like ages.
The large German Shepherd pulled back with a curt exhale from his glistening nose, drawing the First Blade from where it was stashed on his belt.
“Sammy, Crowley, Dad, you… You all think you know what I want, what’s best for me,” Dean proclaimed as he paced back behind Castiel. “I can finally escape all of this, live my life for me.”
The rune-engraved manacle around Castiel’s right wing was unlocked. The chain rattled as its tension was released and the manacle swung freely, replaced by the firm grip of Dean’s paw on the angel’s tattered wing.
Castiel followed Dean’s movement with his eyes, turning his head to keep his old friend in his field of view.
“Why are you even here? Don’t you have angel business to attend to?” Dean asked coyly, grazing his tongue across his blade. “You don’t really care what happens to me, I was just a ‘human in your charge’, well now I’m not even human.”
“I am here because I do care, Dean,” Castiel whispered.
“Hah! We’ll see about that!” Dean laughed as he brought the blade down on the shoulder of Castiel’s wing.
The sound of tearing muscle and separating bone was inaudible beneath Castiel’s screams. The First Blade, though effective at killing anything its edge met, was not the sharpest cutting implement, making it all the better as an instrument of torture. Castiel’s eyes glowed electric blue, his back arched away from the blade as Dean cut, he continued screaming as the first wing fell to the ground.
The light that hung from the dungeon ceiling burst, raining sparks down around them. All light in the room was now that which Castiel emitted.
Dean continued to cut, moving on to the left wing. “Do you really care about me? I’m a monster, Cas! And I always have been. I hurt everyone around me," Dean yelled. The light was reflecting off of Dean's blackened eyes.
The blade cut through the last of the flesh connecting Castiel's wing to his back.
"Everyone I love…"
Castiel slumped into Dean, the loose wing still hanging by the chain that bound it, as his wrists were released from the cuffs.
"I'm so sorry, Cas. So, so sorry," Dean whimpered as the blackness of his eyes faded. He brought them both to the floor.
Catching his breath, Castiel muttered weakly, "like you said, I wasn't much of an angel anyway."

Fandom: Teen Wolf || Pairing: Theo Raeken/Liam Dunbar
Word count: 9,558 || Rating: Explicit
Liam is happy. He is in a relationship with Theo and it feels good. And he wants to make his boyfriend feel good too. So much so that he is willing to make some sacrifices. Luckily, Theo sees right through him, and changes the game a little. But the end result is still the same.
Excerpt
It has occurred to Liam before that Theo might be his anchor, the one who kept him in check, helped him keep his anger at bay. But they had more important things to deal with then, so he hadn’t given it much thought. Maybe he should have?
“You do know you are incredibly cute when you are deep in thought?” Theo’s voice reaches him, making him look up at the door. His breath gets caught somewhere in his lungs and his heart definitely skips a beat before it goes into overdrive. All because Theo is standing there in nothing but a towel around his waist.
His hair is still a little wet, droplets falling to his shoulders and sliding down his chest. He’s got a six pack, but his stomach doesn’t seem firm. It looks soft and Liam is hit with a sudden urge to reach out and touch it. Press his fingers into the skin to feel it give. Press his lips against the softness there and feel Theo shiver from it.
“Take a picture,” Theo says. Liam looks up at his face to find the other Were smirking, that same glint in his eyes. But he’s not moving closer, just lingering by the door. So Liam takes his time, eyes roaming over Theo’s body before he makes eye contact again.
“You’re beautiful," he tells him. The smirk immediately falls off Theo’s face, replaced by something more open, more vulnerable. It’s like he wants to tell Liam he’s lying, but also wants Liam to say it again. Like he yearns to hear it more.
“You are,” Liam repeats, smiling softly at the other Were. He gets this incredible rush when he hears Theo’s heart rate change, when his superhearing picks up the tiniest gasp Theo takes. He takes a deep breath, eyes slipping closed as he inhales the small fragrances of Theo’s scent.
Fandom: Teen Wolf || Pairing: Theo Raeken/Liam Dunbar
Wordcount: 7661 || Rating: Mature
Theo Raeken wanders around Beacon Hill. He can’t leave, but he doesn’t really have any place to stay either. His nightmares haunt him, but they are bearable, the are predictable.
Until one night he parks a little too close to the woods.
That night, his dreams become a little too real.
Excerpt:
It's been a year.
And every night, he is plagued with nightmares.
He tried to leave, too. Everyone he was ever really close to left, so why not him too? But he only made it one town over before the nightmares became so vivid that he not only woke up screaming, but with blood around his chest, right where his heart was.
Well, not his. Not really.
So he stays. He stays in Beacon Hills, not because he wants to, but because he is terrified.
The only nights that give him some reprieve are those when he gets hurt at the job, cussed at, or simply ignored. So he learned not to want for anything. If he doesn’t wish for something, then he doesn’t work for it and doesn’t get it. If he doesn’t get it, his sister doesn’t come to take it away, alongside with her own heart.
He deserves this. Hell, he might even deserve worse, deserves to be back underground, caught in that perpetual nightmare where everything feels too real, too painful.
