Ooc: I'm around, if anyone is alive to play. Im curious who all is still active.
(Holy crap I forgot I sent this lmao!)
"Those are pretty good outlets! Out of curiosity, what about if it was a literal itch that you couldn't scratch, either by being unable to reach it, or have your hands full, etcetera?"
Izuku thought about it for a moment before speaking. "I'd use a backscratcher. Seems like the obvious choice." He paused. "Or if a friend's around, I could ask them if they could reach the spot on my back."
He shrugged. "I'm pretty flexible thanks to my training, so there's not a lot of places that I can't reach."
"Though..."
Izuku suddenly gasped as an idea came to him. "I wonder if I could use Blackwhip to reach those spots?!" he exclaimed. "I need to try it!"
Dei raised a brow at the train of thought the young hero seemed to be on. Logic was expected from this one, however the intrusive thoughts if using his quirk to scratch the itch might not have sounder like the best idea, from what she had gathered of his quirk so far.
"Ah, maybe don't use your -powerful-ass-smacker-of-a-quirk- to do something menial like scratch. I fear you night need a trip to Recovery Girl if you do that," the redhead reasoned, holding her hands up innocently.
"Pain doesnt care if you're cute, you know this."
@malderonadventures asked: "Izuku! How do you deal with an itch you can't scratch?"
Izuku hummed in thought before commenting, "Well, I'm assuming you mean figuratively and not literally..."
"I guess I first exhaust every other available option to deal with whatever's bothering me. Most of the time, I'm able to figure out a situation eventually..."
"Though, whenever I get too frustrated, I go jogging or train." He smiled. "It helps keep me level-headed. It also helps to talk with my friends because, a lot of times, they give me great advice!"
(Holy crap I forgot I sent this lmao!)

Bringing the last little bit of the treat to his mouth, he devours the last of the Irirsh Lace. His hand is already moving to wipe any crumbs or chocolate smeared at the sides of his mouth. What a tasty treat!
“I’ll be sure to mention it to her,” He affirms this with a playful twinkle in his eye. “She might just even become your best customer! This sort of job would be right up her alley!” He could only imagine how jealous she would be if he disclosed his awesome job taste tasting here!
“Everything comes back to three,” He repeated her words thoughtfully, still not understanding much of it but then again, he didn’t need to completely understand it - there was a lucky number to her and all things seemed to come in three. Was certainly something he’d never even considered before and it had given him a bit of a new perspective on the number three.
He is all too quick to nod his head in both affirmation and approval - indeed, everything here was good and he was happy to assert as much!
“I wonder how a batch with clover would taste?” Hopefully he would get to try just that! Clovers were something he had never even considered eating before so he had to admit, he was pretty curious as to what the taste would be like - and what purpose the powder she mentioned served. Something to go on top of a pasty maybe…? Cheekily he raises a finger and suggests. “If you do ever try a recipe with clover, I want first dibs, okay?”
This was, of course, simply meant in jest - as he would have been happy to eat anything she had for him.
“I can handle almost anything,” His boast is only half serious as he playfully flexes a muscle. “So, bring it!”
“Déi works fine with me then,” The name still felt foreign and unfamiliar on his tongue and would take some getting used to, though he was grateful for the abbreviation, now having less to memorize - and perhaps in time he could come to properly speak her full name. “Heh, you think so? I’m glad you like it - I think it’s a nice name too!” Though his leaning would have been less ‘cute’ and more ‘badass’.
“Well, when you put it like that, it really is the perfect nickname,” He couldn’t stop himself beaming ear to ear at having already seemingly earned such an affectionate nickname though there was another thought that came to mind. “….So, what would you call a ‘sweet girl’, then…?”
Dei giggled as she watched the blonde munch the last of his treat, resting her chin on her hand as she leaned over the counter. It was always a delight to see someone truly enjoy something she made. That was part of the appeal to opening a little shop like this in the first place. That chocolate on his mouth made her grin as she passed him a napkin from a dispenser on the counter.
"Hah, and you claim to not be cute." She teased him with a little laugh. "If your friend is anything like you, I'm sure we will get along just fine. Just a little sugary sweetness and I might be willing to give her a freebie too. A girlfriend?" She asked, smiling as she raised an eyebrow. Her mind was already picturing gingerbread couples.
She thought on his musings of things in three's. It was true, or at least a superstition she had paid attention to, as it almost always rang true in some form around her. And she wasn't one to believe in coincidence.
"Of course you get dibs on clover cookies. Looks like I need to make a trip to a meadow. I need some muscle to come with me while I pick some. You know, protection against bears and such. Cu-, I mean *cool* as it is, your name means dragon, right? Forgive my less-than-fluent comprehension in the language, of course." The redhead gave a smirk as she sighed and stood upright to stretch her shoulders and back.
His interest in the Gaelic for the reverse of the nickname she gave him amused her. It wasn't often people actually wanted to know the language at all.
"A sweet girl? That's caileag ghrinn," She giggled, saying the words slowly for him to follow along.
Gratefully, he accepts the napkin from her with a small nod and begins to dab all across his mouth - as he pulls the napkin away, there's a light smudge of chocolate and wordlessly, he gestures to his his lips with a questioning look as if to silently ask 'did i get it all?' before balling up the napkin and deftly throwing it into a nearby trashcan.
"Glad someone thinks so," He gives a small chuckle of his own, cheeks lightly flushed at her teasing - although at the mention of his friend, his expression brightens considerably. "Well she's like me in the sense that she also hates studying and isn't great at school but she's also confident, caring and a good friend," He smiles fondly at the mention of her, dumbly blinking and going red at her question.
"N-No, not my girlfriend, just a friend...!" He flailed his hands around, inwardly grateful that said friend wasn't here at the moment as she would have surely joined in on the teasing as well. Not that he minded dating her one day, but they were just friends...! "She's a good friend...!" He affirms, face still lightly pink as he calms himself down.
"That's really nice of you, I'm always happy to taste test your clover cookies!" He nods cheerfully, tilting his head to the side at her offer. "So, come with you and be like your bodyguard when you go clover picking, huh? Well, that sounds like a ton of fun!" He blinks dumbly as she guesses the meaning of his name, actually making an almost accurate guess. "Means 'double dragon' so you're half right, I'm more than happy to try and give you pointers on your Japanese whenever you need it. I mean, I'm no expert, but I'm sure that I can try and help out!"
He leans back in his chair, observing her moments with a lazy but also contented look. He wasn't typically all that interested in other languages, but given that her culture seemed so connected to her, he couldn't help but want to know.
"Cai-leag...gh-rin," He sounds them out each carefully, lifting up his head as he asks. "Do you pronounce 'ghrin' just like 'grin'...?"
Dei grinned as the blonde cleaned himself up. If someone was messy with a treat, that seemed to be a good sign of the taste being better than pretentiousness. A win, in her book. She gave happy nod as he indicated his new stature of cleanliness, though she probably could have amused herself a while longer by letting him be an overgrown "toddler-with-spaghetti" type. Next time. There was always next time.
She raised her brows at his adamant denial of relationship with his gal pal. She narrowed her eyes skeptically, her heterochromic stare boring into his soul.
"Eh... a *really* good friend, hm? Now I *have to* meet her. We'll talk boys." Or rather 'boy', singular. Gotta put those feelers out there, after all.
"Ah, yes. *Double dragon*. That should make you doubly strong enough to manhandle a bear or two. Protect me, O Double Danger-Noodle of Sugar Fueled Rage." Dei sighed dramatically, her hand on her forehead as she feined a ladylike faint. Dramatic, but considering she had no actual worry of a bear showing up, she really just wanted to hang out. Nothing was ever as simple as just *saying* that, with her though.
The redhead grinned as he attempted the Gaelic. If nothing else, it did sometimes relieve a bit of homesickness to hear a word or two in her own language. So few people, even back home seemed to speak the dying language.
"Ghrinn. Gotta give a little roll of the tongue with 'ghr'. Think of the english word 'green' but mispronounced it as 'gah-reen'."
At her nod, he gives a happy little nod of his own - although sweets were delicious there was nothing more embarrassing than a smear of chocolate by his mouth, although she didn't seem like the sort who would rib him for it too much either, way. Still, it was also just nice to have a clean face too - and since he'd been trying more sweets there'd be more chances to mess it up.
Nervously he can't help but chuckle as he wonders if he might have gone a little too far with his denial - if Ann were how now, she'd surely be getting on his case for this...!
"Well, she loves sweets so it won't take much for me to point her in your direction," He gives a breathless, flustered sort of chuckle at the mention of the two them talking boys or rather - boy. "Heh, gonna put in a good word for me?" He jokes.
"I'd like to think so - I've never actually tussled with a bear before so maybe I could stand a chance at taking down one!" He gives a playful flex of his arm, happy to go along with his 'hero' narrative, although she might playfully act like he had it, he had the sense that she was no damsel in distress, herself. Hell, he wouldn't be at all shocked if she revealed that she'd wrestled some bears in her time, as well!
Sounding the words out like a toddler was an interesting sort of feeling - it was hard not to wrestle with a bit of self consciousness and embarrassment but how else did you get better at a language, if not through practice? So, as he took in her advice, he tried to apply it himself.
"Gah...reen," He spaces out each syllable, testing how they feel on his tongue first, trying to take her advice and roll his tongue, though he sensed it still wasn't quite right just yet.
"Any tips on rolling the tongue...?"
Dei giggled at his shyness when it came to the topic of girls. Something about the sweet boy fumbling over his thoughts so nervously was just too amusing.
"What, surely you have a line lassies just hounding for you. Do you -want- me to put in a word with your little girlie, or do you want to hide here behind me skirt?" She smirked, before teasing him. "I'll keep ya to myself if you let me, don't tempt fate."
She clapped theatrically as he flexed at the thought of saving her from bears.
"Aye! There's a brave lad! I've never felt safer, of course. Hm... I think there is a bear wrestling sport somewhere in the world. Perhaps we should sign you up..."
The woman grinned as she watched him do his pronunciations. "Tip of the tongue to the front of the mouth. Good lad! Look at you, being such a natural. You'll be speaking Gaelic with me in no time. We can poke fun at the passerby. Give you some awful phrases to tease your friends with. I'll start you out on something easy, like Pog Mo Thoin!

Dei could spot the relief in the man's shoulders when she didn't try to press the situation. It mirrored in her own body language as he seemed to open up a bit more. At least Jamison also didn't seem too eager to jump in the deep end.
"A dangerous quirk? I already like the sound of that," she giggled. "I'll not feel so alone now."
Following a strange man to a secluded area for something intentionally dangerous was not something the redhead would normally do. But Jamison made her feel relaxed. He didn't seem unhinged. Between her general feeling of ease with him and confidence in her own ability, it shouldn't be too crazy.
She stood when bid to follow along with the hero, brushing her fingers along the identical tattoo of the man's skin as she wandered to the sidewalk outside.
"Hm? Me? Oh no, no, no. I work at a bakery. Completely -harmless-" she smirked, the look on her face clearly amused at the irony of her statement.
"I'm not exactly hero material. But I make some devilish desserts, if you're interesed," Dei smiled, staying at his side as they moved.
"Oh cool! Maybe one day you'll show me your skills? I love eating sweets" He smiled gently at her not really caring if she was a hero or not.
"I was a hero for a while. But after an accident I retired. I got post-traumatic stress or something. I can't fight like I used to. But I ended up joining U.A. as a teacher's assistant. Maybe one day I'll become a teacher. I just won't stay active anymore." Jamie felt surprised to naturally discuss that delicate subject with a stranger. Either way, it seemed natural to talk to her about it.
"Here we have arrived." He pointed to his friend's arcade. It closed. However, they went behind to a vacant lot with ample space to show off their quirks without issues.
He walked to the gate and opened the padlock with a key he took from his pocket. Opening and inviting her to enter. "My friend purchased the land, built the arcade store, and set aside money for future projects. While that doesn't happen, we usually train here or just let off steam, you know? Like destroying things with our quirks... it's good for de-stressing." He gave a smirk and went to the middle of the field.
"Alright. May I show you my powers first or do you want to start the honors?"
@malderonadventures
She watched the man as he guided them along their way, nodding along as he told her of his profession and past. The heros all seemed to have a sweet undertone to their actions. She could totally see Jamison as one.
"Oh yea? I'd love to bake for you. Perhaps if you play your cards right, there are cookies in your future," she predicted ominously. Her smirk grew and she hugged his arm.
:Being a hero is hard enough work. You want to go off the deep end and train others? Good grief." Dei raised an eyebrow and glance at him sideways. Then again, this one in a hero costume... she cleared her throat and trotted along as he let them through the gated area.
"Alright, sensei. Show me what you can do?" She asked with a grin, releasing him after giving a gently squeeze and taking a set back. If he was as dangerous as it seemed, she would need to stay aware. Oddly enough, she felt no threat to her safety though. Maybe it was the bond. Something worth looking into in the future, perhaps.
Snow had almost forgotten that he was naked until it was brought up and he brought his tail around to cover him slightly, leaning into Kaz’ embrace as the other turned humanoid dragon again. “I’m sorry, I forgot it flew off.” Snow said quietly, figuring that Kaz was displeased since he didn’t like seeing him in the nude.
Kaz couldn't help but scoff at the inquiry. Snow was such an innocent person who had been through a horrible time. Never would that be allowed here.
"Not that sort of tame. There are few humans here, much less ones so bold as to try to tame a dragon. I tame myself to prevent... unseemly behavior. Self-discipline, so to speak. I can't very well allow myself to give into such temptations."

malderonadventures:
“Oh, I remember. You smell wonderful, even still. Still, I feel you should be as slippery as me,” the dragon chuckled, making another lunge for the smaller man. He didn’t have to behave himself too awful much if he wasn’t in public. Cat and mouse was a fun game to work up his appetite.
In the enclosed room, the smell of the oils Kadaj had crashed into was much more vivid than when they had gotten fresh air outside. Here, the oils certainly seemed to be doing whatever job it had started in him. Now, if only he could catch the slippery man.
Kadaj backflipped away again and landed on his feet, balancing on the balls of his feet like a cat. “Still too slow Itchy. But let’s not wreck the room OK? It’ll get expensive if we have to repair everything.”
A playful growl left the large man on the bed as he carefully shifted around, settling back on his haunches as he contemplated how to best stroke.
"You are more than welcome to come to me willingly then. Otherwise, this entire inn be damned, I will jump on you regardless if obstacles, " he explained calmly, his head tilted curiously.
"Such an agile creature, you are."
Kaz smiled kindly down at Snow, resting a hard hand on his head.
"Fret not. I did say I would provide what you need, yes? If you wish to wear more or less it up to you, however I cannot trust myself to remain tamed of you are in such a state, you understand? I need to focus on arrangements for you first and foremost. I cannot allow my eyes to wander, you see " he murmured quietly.
"I mean no offense."
Snow nodded. He supposed that was true, but he had no personal experience in travelling for travel’s sake. “I see…and now me, but I guess I’m only half dragon. Or so I am told. I don’t really know about my race either, it wasn’t really a talking point being used for pleasure.”
<I do not know much about half dragons, but full dragon, I could tell you about. Granted, at your age, I don’t need to tell you about physiology. More history or habits, I suppose,> he mused, ducking them under another flock of fat birds.
Snow nodded again as he looked around and pointed as they were now getting closer to Kaz’ home. “Is that your place? Or is that another kingdom?” Snow asked hopefully. He was eager to be back on the ground, but also excited to meet and find out about his new guardian and protector.
Kaz lifted them higher again to get a look at the towered castle coming into view over the horizon.
<Indeed. That would be our home. The capital city, Zeupheisto. Good eye, Snow,> the large ribbonlike dragon praised with a rumble of his chest he descended as they flew over the bustling city. The shadow of his giant wings falling over the citizens, earning a few happy waves in passing.
The dragon landed in the castle courtyard, shaking the nearby ground, as solders nearby came running, standing at attention with salutes as their prince coiled himself to shift forms with Snow in his arms, wings around him protectively now that he could see the loincloth had been taken by the intense winds.
"Have Bamba prepare a room for our guest. One of you, go grab some pants." He commanded, spliers scrambling to follow orders quickly as possible.
Kadaj nodded as he rubbed the scales some more. “Well…we could make a tavern or something as well, the Itchy Dragon.” Kadaj smirked. “And our strongest alcoholic drink we could call Dragon’s Breath.” Kadaj said as he kept rubbing the oils in. “Feeling better now?”
“…My breath isn’t that bad,” the dragon pouted, flicking his tail up to tap the pffender’s chrrk. How dare he.
“Other than the feeling offense. I am perfectly fine. Now I wish to dunk you in oil for your insolence,” he frowned, turning to pounce on Kadaj.
Kadaj smiled. “You did already drunk me in oil, or did you forget?” Kadaj smiled as he dodged to the side and flipped up to his feet in a silver blur. “Too slow.” Kadaj winked playfully.
"Oh, I remember. You smell wonderful, even still. Still, I feel you should be as slippery as me," the dragon chuckled, making another lunge for the smaller man. He didn't have to behave himself too awful much if he wasn't in public.
Dei nodded in agreement. It was true that tattoos could hold much more meaning than a scribble on paper. If she was honest with herself, she had been thinking about then since the markings had shown up on her skin.
"You designed it? How sweet! I always thought it was rather charming. Remind me to thank your friend later. Maybe I can ask him to do one on me. I have one in mind that might mean something in time. Granted, you would have to have it too, if that's alright. We can decorate my -pretty body- together, hm?" She teased, a small smirk appearing on her face. Too cute.
The short Irish woman leaned forward on the table, tilting her head with interest.
"Let's get to know each other then. Can I see your quirk? I'll show you mine, if you show me yours," she giggled. "Though, perhaps we should do 'Show and Tell' -not- in a Boba shop, Hero."
Jamison looked at her with surprise but relief at the same time. She seemed to be taking the situation lightly. Which was good. The two didn't need to turn this new information into something too dramatic or too serious. Getting to know each other was the best idea.
"Uh... sure! But my quirk is quite dangerous... so yes let's go to a safer place. I know a vacant lot that is perfect for this. It's at the back of my friend's arcade shop. Come with me, it's not far. A few minutes on foot. In the meantime we can talk better." He gets up pay the check and left the tea boba shop. Signaling with his hand for the redhead to follow him.
"So are you a hero or just a regular job?"

"...My breath isn't that bad," the dragon pouted, flicking his tail up to tap the pffender's chrrk. How dare he.
"Other than the feeling offense. I am perfectly fine. Now I wish to dunk you in oil for your insolence," he frowned, turning to pounce on Kadaj.
Granted, at your age, I don't need to tell you about physiology. More history or habits, I suppose,> he mused, ducking them under another flock of fat birds.
