as far as she was concerned, there’s hardly much she could ever consider when it comes to pets. there was a time when animals meant the world to her, especially through the eyes of an innocent child. but that was, just as anyone would suggest, the past. a loyal companion who always wagged his tail to greet her but sacrificed its life through an incident. that is her only experience when involving the companionship of animals, as far as she could understand. naturally, there’s no one who truthfully knew about this fragment of her life.
no one knows the enigmatic girl, nor her background.
though the person in question who strikes up the conversation first was … peculiar. wasn’t he the known breeder of the academy? that’d explain the intriguing heads of his hamsters popping out every so often. even she couldn’t miss this with the keen eyes she holds. lilac hues kept an intent focus on the hamsters to note their fair gestures as if they moved to his words. they certainly are interesting to great measures. even the striking tendency to casually pet their little heads with a single gloved digit was there, from time to time. instead, her tendencies were kept secret before getting back to the breeder’s attention.
❝ … … ❞ ( what … companion i choose to hold my loyalty … then, he refers to an animal … hmm … )
for his inquiry … well, the answer was obvious. despite the rumors of how large he makes himself out to be as a lord of the sort, the enigma girl did not fear his presence. nor would she cast away this conversation in a dire need of escape. nodding gently, a soft but blunt tone escaped through cold lips and settled a gaze downward.
❝ … what companion i choose to hold my loyalty? are you referring to the similarities between your partnership with your hamsters if it is plausible for me? okay, then. i would prefer canines above any other. their loyalty and friendly company certainly brings me what i desire, i suppose. why do you ask? ❞
his eyes followed the woman's, noticing that she had not necessarily been looking him directly in the eyes this entire time. but-- of course, how could she look him in the eyes? it was impossible to face gundam tanaka, prince of darkness, unless it was in her wishes that death be brought upon her! she would be blinded, casting even a single glance upon the purest form of evil imaginable. it was a wonder even now that she had not burst into hellish flames upon his initial address to her.
however, those eyes of hers ( chilling & beautiful in their sockets, like a keen feline’s ), they were not looking at him. instead, they appearing to be glancing at his scarf, the home in which he allowed his four dark devas to rest. it was understandable that attention should be drawn to his miniature harbingers of doom; their innocent appearance allowed them to infiltrate the innermost circles of society, yet their power enabled them to destroy once past the initial stage of suspicion.
a smirk crossed his lips as he gently removed the beasts from within the folds of cloth they were sheltered in-- san-d, jum-p, maga-z, & cham-p were surfaced to the world, their stage made from gundam's palms. he raised them to eye level, & with a laugh, gave them their so well-deserved introduction ( it was obviously what this woman had been seeking all along, otherwise she would not have been staring at them so feverishly ).
❛ keheh... i must address your first mistake, madam. these are not mere ' hamsters ', as you so call them. they are demons, bred from sin & born from the fires of hell —— their intelligence surpasses that of any average rodent, therefore they cannot be classified as such beings. they are the four dark devas of destruction ---- not hamsters! ❜
❛ however, your failure to see their true nature is as expected of such a lousy human as yourself —— dogs for their loyalty, hm? dogs are also often the most difficult to tame, & require much effort to stabilize from a wild nature ---- did you know that, before you answered my question? i see you have not nearly as wide a spectrum of animal knowledge as i may have assumed previously; the canine race is, indeed, very popular among animal lovers & breeders alike, but they are not superior. seek to argue with me, & i promise you i will not be forgiving ---- the ultimate breeder, gundam tanaka, does not accept such ignorance to the diversity of the animal kingdom! ❜
