To be honest, I have no idea how to begin this…journal…log. Whatever this may be called, so I’ll start with what inspired this journal. I’ve been hunting the creatures of the night since I was 17, but knew of them since birth, my father was the cause of that, but nevertheless I’m 24 now. Because of my career as a hunter, I tend to be on the road often, so I tend to run into other hunters. I came across this old fella named Robert, while I was hunting one of those necromancer in Kansas. We ended up chatting for hours, and he told me to start keeping a log of all my hunts. Ol’ Robert kept on ramblin’ about how good it would be for future hunters, but once my life comes to an end, I’m burning these books. I’m praying that there will be no future hunters, not because I think the hunters can wipe out all things supernatural, but that all things supernatural wipe us out. We should have just kept our eyes shut. No one should have to deal with these foul creatures and the torment that they cause to the mind. The paranoia. The fear. The pain. The constant feeling of being stuck. It is all maddening. I am so tired of it, but I continue to march because I’m a good little soldier, or maybe it’s because I have nothing but the hunt.
