DIY Natural Lip Tint: Simple and effective cheek and lip stain with the added vitamins. What you will need (2 Tbsp) Olive Oil (1 Tbsp) Honey 1 Beet 1 Potato peeler Q Tips or lip brush 1 small container (use an old lip balm container- be sure to disinfect prior) Or purchase one from your local drug store. PROCESS: -Peel the skin and cut the beet in half -Chop into small pieces -Add olive oil, honey, beet into a food processor and blend until liquefied -Strain to separate liquids from solids using cheesecloth -Pour liquid into a glass airtight container APPLY: Lips-Using a lip brush or cotton swap, dab the stain over clean, dry lips. Cheeks-Try on the apples of your cheeks as well using the same tool, dab three dots of stain onto the apple of your cheek and blend in a circular motion until fully absorbed into skin REFRIGERATE: You can store in the refrigerator for up to four weeks or in the freezer for two months. Natural Glow in minutes: (1 TBLS) Brewer's Yeast (1/2 CUP) Yogurt (1 TBLS) Honey Method : - Add the yeast to yogurt and stir well - Add the honey and mix well - Apply mask evenly to face, avoiding the eye area, and let sit for 10 to 15 minutes - Rinse with luke warm water and then splash with cold water Follow with your favorite moisturizer. DIY MENS FACIAL: In honor of Father's Day I thought I would share an easy at-home/ DIY facial for men, or the man in your life. My experience is that I can't get my husband to a spa or an esthetician for that matter, he has a very demanding job, and like majority of my male clients, he does not take the time to pamper himself. So, I have to take his skin regime into my own hands... Try this basic at-home facial at least once a month, this works on oily, dry and combination skin. CLEANSE Start with washing the face and neck with a facial cleanser or warm water and a washcloth to remove any grime or dirt, exfoliating with your fingers in a circular motion focusing on the areas around the nose and forehead. STEAM Fill a pot large enough to fit your head and bring 4-8 cups of water to a subtle boil, turn off the stove, and place your head over the water with a towel over your head. Allow the steam to seep into your pores for a good 5 -10 minutes. (add a drop of eucalyptus or tea tree oil for fun). TREATMENT For oily skin, use a clay-based face mask. Avoid the areas around the eyes, and keep it on for 10-15 minutes (or, follow the directions on the product), and rinse completely. My favorite is Living Clay: All Natural Calcium Bentonite Clay http://www.livingclayco.com/detox_clay.html?gclid=CPPVzoTI6bcCFU6i4AodhUUAfw Apply it for not more than 10 minutes and rinse it with normal water. MOISTURIZE Apply your favorite moisturizer over the face and neck. I like Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer or Aloe Vera Gel.

DIY | Organic Vanilla Sugar Body Scrub Tip #4 Let's make a scrub! 5 Drops of Organic Vanilla Essential Oil (or your favorite scent, lavender is nice too) 1 Tbls Organic Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil 1 Cup Organic Brown Sugar Mix sugar and essential oils Stir in Coconut Oil Mix together well and scoop into a glass container with a tight lid, like little mason jars. You can add little wooden spoons for scoopers It's that easy!

NATURAL EYE SMOOTHER TIP #3: This is a cost effective trick I picked up a couple years ago while on the set of the Tyra Banks Show... Who knew egg whites which are not only heart healthy but high in vitamin B2 & riboflavin, which improves circulation, are also a great alternative to expensive eye firming creams. How It Works: Egg whites act as an astringent, making your skin appear tighter and smoother. How To Use: Beat two egg whites until stiff (you can use the remainder for a lemon meringue, but that's another blog), then apply to the under-eye area using a brush or fingertips. Let the mixture dry for about 15 minutes; rinse well with water. If you have witch hazel in your cabinet add a drop or two to the beaten whites, which further reduces swelling and keeps the egg whites from drying too rapidly. The Results: Reduced Under Eye Bags, Smoother, Tighter, Brighter, More Youthful Appearance.

Sephora Glitter Eyeliner ($12.00 on sale $7.00) Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liners ($18.00) Trick: Use an eyelid primer My Favorite: Smashbox Photo Finish ($20) Technique: I stumbled across a great tutorial via Nerdy Girl Makeup using a gel liner.
