Are we gonna see more of Betsy in later chapters?? I absolutely love the idea of Alastor having a "rival" for Vincent’s affections even tho we know he's down horrendously bad for Al 😂 but Betsy being the All American "ideal" wife image being seen with Vincent...heh idk but I really love your female characters! Hoo boy, the new chapter was a roller-coaster of emotion. I am still in denial about the event that happened at the very end T_T

And, I know it's been said a ton of times, but I adore how deliciously brittle your Alastor is under all that pomp and confidence.

My question is, will we ever learn what happened to Mike and how exactly did he end up in Al's clutches?

Also, my compliments to Soph, her tale in the beginning of the chapter made me cry like a little bitch.

Vincent is such a sweetheart, but I always find myself wondering how difficult all of this must be for Alastor. I mean, he has the same abilities, yet for some reason he still doesn't feel fulfilled. I love how he seems jealous, yet at the same time he's falling in love with him. It's incredible how you write that—how you make such a complex duality feel so natural and easy to understand.

The depth you give Alastor, and the way you've written Vincent, are absolutely amazing.

To me, Alastor is a character with so much wasted potential. The fandom has managed to bring out some of that potential, but you... MY GOD!!, you took it, made it your own, and developed it so beautifully. He feels so human. I love every interaction he has with Vincent, every single thought that goes through his mind. It's fascinating.

And Vincent is just as incredible. Honestly, every character in this story feels so unique. Each one has a purpose and helps move the story forward. I know I've already used this word, but it's truly fascinating.

I haven't even finished reading Chapter 10 yet, I always take my time so I can enjoy every moment. But I really wanted to tell you this because I couldn't keep it to myself.

WOAH. ABSOLUTE BANGER OF A CHAPTER. Let me first start out by saying that the sheer intensity of that emotional rollercoaster was only that amazing and immersive because of your AMAZING style and dedication and understanding of these characters. I found it so interesting how Alastor basically snapped after Vincent DIED IN HIS ARMS and said ‘man fuck it i need this bitch inside me in case he dies again’ I JUST HOPE that Alastor has realized that Vincent isn’t putting on an act and never has been the entire time, because GODDAMNIT ALASTOR IT TOOK YOU THIS LONG?

ALSO VINCENT’S SLIDE ON HIS KNEES INTO ALASTOR’S STOMACH LMFAO. I read that scene and felt like the Leonardo DeCaprio point and whistle meme. THERE GOES MY BABAAYYYYYY

The ending was SO REWARDING and I swear I shed a tear multiple times because of how long I’ve been waiting for Alastor to finally let himself just *feel.*

I loved this chapter so much and I can’t wait for the next one!!! Thank you Mak!!!!!
