I usually draw my own characters. Occasionally I will make fanart. When I make proper reference sheets for my OCs, I will put them here.

I only post onto ibispaint (@mak), on YT (@mak0046), here (@mak0046 and @nadin-sula) and Pinterest (as @madenbury) but not much. If my art is posted anywhere else, it is being reposted without my permission. If you think somebody is reuploading something from me without my permission, please don’t engage with them yourself, just contact me through my asks.

- Be respectful in my comment sections.

If you comment something hateful/offensive, I will not engage with you, I will just delete your comment. No point in doing it. I don’t usually get a lot of comments so it’s very easy to keep on top of it. Also I will delete bot comments on sight.

- PLEASEEEE do not argue in comments on my posts. This has never happened to me but I’m saying it just in case.

- If you follow me I won’t always follow back but I’d say the majority of the time I do, as if currently. Though this may not always be true, it could change in the future.

- Also this comes up in the section below but I’m not really going to post anything particularly suggestive here. This page for the most part I’d say is meant to be appropriate for people around their later teens and older.

- I will always, always put a warning first before showing anything I think could be triggering (like blood, violence, suicide, etc.) + I will also tag it with the same warning(s). Whenever I do this, I will put the warning first and then a cut, under the cut will be the drawing or whatnot that I’ve posted.

Fanart rules and stuff I guess (if anybody makes any):

I would love and appreciate any fanart from anyone no matter your skill level!!! (As long as you don’t use generative AI for it, of course.)

(If you make any, send it through asks or tag me when you post it so I can see it!)

I have very few rules when it comes to stuff like fanart.

1. Don’t make suggestive/sexual art of my characters. I don’t want other people doing that.

2. Please don’t ship my characters with yourself or other unrelated characters like your OCs and stuff. I do not like it when people do that. I’m not trying to be rude it just makes me uncomfortable.

3. Please don’t make offensive/problematic content using my characters. This includes things like relationships between adults and underage characters, sexualizing abusive/controlling dynamics, using them to promote harmful messages (as in stuff that is racist, anti-lgbtq+, etc). I don’t think I need to explain why I don’t want people to do this. Just don’t.

(Ref sheets will be added later, I haven’t gotten to them yet. They will include names, pronouns, and other basic information)

Characters (you’ll be able to tell which one is which once I put their ref sheets):

- Hinasem (He/him)

- Somukari (He/him)

I will add more later possibly. Right now I am focusing on refs for these two.

This is a redesign for Hinasem. It may change in the future still, but I am pretty happy with this version. I don’t know, I just feel like it’s more interesting and recognizable.

I HATE HATE HATEEEE this format of tutorial

LIKE SHUT UPPPPPPP it’s always just like “other way BAD do it MY WAY!!!!!” and it genuinely drives me insane like it’s so unhelpful. You could’ve just said “hey this is my way I draw it” but NO you just HAD to do it this way like HOLY SHIT there’s a million other ways you could have presented this yet you chose this??

And it’s almost ALWAYS the simpler art style too. It’s so tiring. Can we stop. Your way of drawing this is not objectively right it’s just your way and passing it off as it being the right way (whether a joke or not) is annoying and unhelpful. And it’s even worse when the “right way” isn’t correct or is a completely different thing from what the first image is a drawing of… but that’s besides the point. And when you say that on Pinterest, where I always see these, all anybody says is basically “nuh uh” and “bean soup theory” (and maybe I’m just an idiot but what the fuck even is “bean soup theory”??).
