The charity single titled ‘Bridge over Troubled Water’ featuring various British artists was released yesterday and already became the number 1 single on iTunes just after two hours.

The single is to raise money for those that have been affected by the Grenfell Tower fire where over 70 people have been confirmed dead, another 70 are still missing and over 300 residents have been left without a home.

Simon Cowell organised for Garfunkel’s classic song to be covered by more than 50 well-known artists. Some of the artists featured on the single include; Liam Payne, Stormzy, Emeli Sande, Rita Ora and many more. 

The music video for the single shows many of the residents standing together as a choir and also shows some of the horrific photos of when the tragic fire took place.

Rapper Stormzy opens the song with his moving verse. ‘I refuse to be silenced, I refuse to neglect you’.

‘Bridge over Troubled Water’ is now available to purchase with proceeds going to the victims of Grenfell Tower.

We’ve set up a charity drive in memory of Robin. It will benefit Stand Up to Cancer.
