Hello everyone,
Just wanted to speak to all my black and brown people for a second! So, the time has come. Elections are tomorrow and it can lead to many anxious feelings. Here’s a few reminders:
Get all of your shopping done early if you can. This goes mainly for grocery shopping. People will be out late tomorrow night and you don’t want to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Same goes for Wednesday. If you need something, get it early in the morning if possible, just to avoid any crowds. Toilet paper, milk, eggs, bread, any essentials are best to buy because they tend to go out quickly.
Get gas. Fill up your tank also in the morning or today if you can, the number of m*g* supporters that will be trolling the streets will be numerous and gas stations can be a hub for trouble. Police will be out in numbers as well.
Do not engage with any trump supporters. Just don’t do it. Many of them tend to be armed and it’s better to avoid any head on situations if possible.
Create a wellness plan. Mental health is super important in times like this, so please be sure to create a self care ritual. If that means sitting on tumblr posting/reading fan fiction all day, do it! If you are feeling extremely overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to reach out to a trusted person. We’re going to need each other.
Turn off the news. If it makes you anxious, you don’t have to watch it. You’re not a bad person for choosing not to engage in that.
Be sure to keep tabs on your family and friends. Share your locations should you choose to venture out.
Keep your heads up! I know this is an uncertain time for all of us, however, i am only speaking for my black and brown people. I love you all and I’m available should you need anything! My DMs will always be open.

idk who needs to hear this but it’s none of your business with how many times someone changes their pronouns. someone can say they’re uncomfortable with a certain pronoun two months ago and then be comfortable with them after a while. all you need to do is respect that and the person. if we say we want to be talked to / about with (x pronoun) then you do that. end of discussion.

URGENT HELP PLEASE: I feel so embarrassed to ask. My name Aerial Burchfield. I just ran away from of a 2 year long abusive relationship. I feel so lost and confused. Im 8 months pregnant, and i cant do this anymore. It has gotten to the point where my partner would hit me, slap me, and even choked me out until i passed out. I thought i was dead. UPDATE:
So along with my so-called friend stealing and harboring money donated to the venmo and cashapp that i previously listed. The so called friend claiming they didnt obtain any donations, even after donors reached out to me and claimed otherwise with physical proof. Then that so called friend reported my BRAND NEW paypal they created for me so i cant receive ANY donations sent to it. Luckily my co-worker allowed me to use their cards attached to their paypal and cashapp and gave me their logins with permission to login to manage any donations.
