Need more hands!
We are currently behind on quite a lot of stuff but additional hands are a blessing that is pretty hard to come by nowadays. Got to come up with a more systematic & organized routine especially on maintenance tasks to keep up with our fellow hobbyists' demands. Despite it though, we would like thank you for continuing to support us! Every single purchase counts towards our growth. We are working to introduce new and exciting stuff so stay tuned ๐
Happy pet-keeping!

Hi guys! It's good to be back! ๐ Missed out on quite a lot of action lately as I just came back from my review and board examination at Cebu. Good news is, I passed the licensure examination for civil engineers! ๐ท The garage was in havoc. The number one problem I had other than dirty tanks was that my aeration system had gone crazy. The airline tubing system I had meticulously set up at the back side of my fish racks, hidden from view had been gutted out and airline tubes were dangling all over the place. I had to work on that fish before I dove in each tank and started cleaning them. I bought a half inch blue 12ft PVC pipe used for water lines, a 90ยฐ PVC elbow fixture and two PVC caps to cover the ends. I had a spare cut PVC pipe piece of similar size lying around so I connected them all to for a capital letter "L". I secured the connections with a sealant and made air holes along the longer end with a heated soldering rod I had which is dedicated for making holes for my pet projects instead of soldering stuff ๐ I then stuffed the holes with "Y" plastic aquarium airline connectors as a way to connect my sponge filter via airline tubing. A little bit of sealant around each connector ensures an airtight fit. A small hose was then fitted to my old but still efficiently running 18watts compressor and connected to the pipe on the PVC cap on the shorter end as it was nearer. Sealed it again with a few dabs of sealant to make sure no leaks are present. Lastly, I connected back my sponges filters, corner filters and airstones to the system using airline tubings and regulated the flow of air with mechanical controllers. The airflow seems to be stronger now that it is well distributed compared to the old setup where I only used airline tubings and connectors. The tanks nearer to the compressor got better aeration flow compared to the ones further away but now, not a single tank gets treated differently. Been observing the setup for a week or two now and so far, no problems with leaks or whatsoever. Hope it stays that way forever ๐ Next task was cleaning the tanks and I'll save that for my next post so stay tuned and follow us on our Facebook page to learn more about what we have in store. Till then, happy pet-keeping! ๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ ๐๐

Day 1 of our Mini Bacopa farm here in Cebu. Got them for super cheap from one of our review instructor who is also an avid aquascaper. He recommended it as a supplement for boosting memory. #magspets #cebuadventures #aquascaping #cebu #phillipines #green #greenpower #plant #bacopa #memory
MAGS-Pets will be under new management for some time as I will be out of town for several months. Meetups, shipments and new stock arrivals will be on hold for now. However, feel free to drop by our location for regular transactions or send our page a PM for inquiries and look for Dave. Thanks for the continued patronage and for the undying support. We plan to get back into full gear by mid of next year so till then, happy pet-keeping! :D ~Mags #magspets #pet #hobby #petshop #phillipines #iligancity #ishallreturn
