Magma's Not Dead!

Anyway another thing that I would like to touch on is season 4 itself and my fears/hopes for season 5 and the series finale.

I’ve heard of a lot of criticism and backlash towards the current season. Which terrifies me. Now you can dislike it that’s fine. Your opinion is okay. I’m just worried about RT feeling like they aren’t allowed to experiment and produce different and unique episodes again.

I liked how different this season felt. It was a nice change. Most episodes really weren’t trio or Max centered, we got a AMAZING Harrison episode (which I’ve rewatched at least 5 times) Preston got his first actual episode, Nikki had a episode that reflected her personality (and was a big adhd and autism mood… maybe mania too?) And…The Forest? What a experience.

I don’t want RT to go back to old patterns with the show. I want them to keep trying out new things and going a bit deep on characters we don’t see in the spotlight often. I just hope they don’t feel pressured to stop that.

I’m afraid of fandom backlash. If dadvid never becomes canon, we never see Jasper again, etc I’m worried about the aftermath.

Its okay to be upset about this kind of stuff. But don’t label something as bad and terrible because it didn’t live up to how you perceived the show. Let the artists perform their work. You aren’t entitled to certain things.
