An introduction

Now that some dime-a-dozen cheery Vocaloid song with melancholic themes has driven me out of hiding, I figured I should formally introduce myself. I'm Maglev, you may know me for being a guy that keeps showing up in comment sections. I just have a lot of interests and a lot of things to say.

I don't normally use social media (besides Discord but I consider that different), however Tumblr strikes me as the social media platform for people who hate social media, so it all checks out. Regardless, I'm new here. I'm pretty good at spouting nonsense into the void so I should be a natural.

My main interests are... I have no earthly idea actually. They oscillate in and out constantly.

Deltarune Chapter 5: Antimony of Common Flower Theory

Why is it called them? It was the Touhou game title that felt the best for this. I'll elaborate on my reasonings if asked but I don't feel like explaining everything (and tbh half of it is "it would be cool")

Each of Asgore's flowers will be a Darkner, with personalities based on the respective Soul colors and designs that show Touhou influence. Determination is noticeably absent.

Each flower will have their respective soul's Omega Flowey attack.

Apple Girlington will be the green flower, albiet maybe with a different name because the existing name is very silly. Alternatively, if the strange amount of western ties mean something, she'll be the Yellow soul. (Something I have even less conviction on: Magical Hopalong Cassidy Station will be this chapter's Field of Hope's & Dreams equivalent)

The shadow crystal battle will give us something Undertale fans have long desired: A proper battle against Base Flowey. The buildup to this battle will also be where the real ROOTS plays.

Also this isn't part of the theory but what if the chapter boss was the sun itself (well, a miniature dark sun, but as far as the Dark Heroes are concerned, they're fighting the sun). Hence all the talk of the sun going down. It's unlikely but it'd be SICK.

Woody secret boss this, Cowgirl Apple Girlington secret boss that... I think we are forgetting that we have seven flower-coded characters to work with here. Seven flowers each conspicuously colored like an Undertale soul color. And you know what the yellow soul's defining characteristic is, to the point of it being the basis of the single most famous Undertale fangame?

Cowboy attire.

The floral cowboy bath curtains? That's YELLOW petals. That's the yellow flower.

And that doesn't mean there can't be Apple Girlington there too! She can be the green soul! ...though her direct connection to Magical Hopalong Cassidy Station might mean they're one in the same after all. But still, there's options.

Apple Girlington is real apparently. I love the visuals for this fangame. The characters look so cute in this art style. Some of the spell cards in this game are really cool, especially the final bosses. Really solid Touhou fangame and it's free! So, play it! Play it for Apple Girlington! You must collect her apples.
