It really really sucks right now, in a lot of ways, so I guess I just want to say that my little stupid blog will be a safe space for any queer/LGBTQ+ people, I know how hostile it is right now to anyone who's even slightly different from "normal".

I hate it, and I know most people hate it to so that doesn't really change much but, this won't last forever. Hate is a fire that can only burn so long, I think. Queer people have always existed no matter how hard they've been tried to be stamped out, and they'll continue to exist long after this. Don't give up, you're stronger than you know.

wait ok. Shadow Crystals contain lost dreams in universe, but they maybe also do in like a meta sense???? Like yeah, they're all related to lightner's lost dreams or such, but what about the extradiegetic reasons for why they might have them?

Take Spamton NEO for example, the reason why a boss based off of Mettaton Neo even exists at all is because it was Toby Fox's goal to make a real Mettaton Neo bossfight for Deltarune. It's literally a lost dream manifesting from player's hopes of a full Mettaton NEO fight, manifesting itself into the Spamton Neo fight.

Similarly could be said for the other main Undertale reference bosses, the Hammer of Justice and Pink. Both wheren't fully explored in Undertale, but they're dived into a bit deeper here. I'd say Jevil is possibly the dreams of DELTARUNE from 2012 finally coming to fruition, as we know he's existed for a LONG time.

The Knight is a bit more complicated, it ultimately depends on what the deal of the Knight even is. It could be, in some senses, the dreams of being able to beat an impossible boss fight, something all but guaranteed to be a loss. But that's sorta vague, so I'm not gonna harp on that.

Asriel, who is not actually here, but I am instead mistaking Ralsei, who is the horned headband, for, you promised her that you'd use your HOPE to SAVE December... the Mayor, who is also the Knight, in a trinitatian sense, fired me for not properly preventing this, as if it was not December's fault. Sans, however, after Grillby's fight with cancer for many years, has inherited his business, and become a small buisness owner. I'm happy for him, he's making Toriel happy... and I can see that now. Sans Gaster... he is a jolly fellow is he not?

ok. prhhegrwhjegrewhgrwhjk so I made a list of TMs for my fangame... it's very first draft, I have some that I feel could be cut as they have a tiny bit of overlap with other moves, or just might not be neccesary, or maybe there's just a lot of that type. Maybe there's some I've missed, I'm totally open to feedback but i need to take a break from working on this basically all day hahaha

we know that Seam is somehow? related to Asriel, being on his computer, and in Dess's room we have the "frayed yarn and buttons"?????? Nothing too original, Asriel also has been revealed to have unsent love letters to Dess in chapter 5...

Nothing too crazy, there's nothing super solid connecting it here, but could Seam be related to the lost dreams between Dess and Asriel??? Could be more than just romantic dreams, but dreams of Dess having a future maybe too????? considering she's missing, regardless of if she's the knight or not (im pretty sure she is)

transphobia doesn't really exist in the world of Deltarune, at least not that we've really been shown, so it's interesting to me how Ralsei's possible trans identity is hidden still. There's not like a societal expectation against it, so in order to have a narrative of Ralsei exploring her identity it would require something else to push back against it. I think what is pressuring Ralsei to conceal her identity is the Prophecy, the one that labels her the Prince of the Dark.

We see Ralsei struggle with the prophecy a lot, she wants to break it but also feels it can't be, she prays in desperate hope that it can be broken, she initially forces the roles of the prophecy onto others... It's interesting to me that all of the visuals of Ralsei in the prophecy—her rendition and the Dark Sanctuary's panels—show Ralsei completely hooded, like she was when we first meet her.
