Must you sell astrology as something magical? Mystification is hurting the field.
Hi there!
Thank you for asking such a serious question. I assume it comes from a person with a good understanding of astrology and good reasons to defend it. So we must be somewhere on the same line as I also have my good reasons to be attached to the art and dedicate significant part of my time to it.
To answer your question, I take a holistic approach to astrology with a priority on esoteric matters. That is because I I have a cultural and philosophical background (subjective quality) which assumes that when we are whole inside it is only a matter of time before we are whole outside (exoterically), while when we are sort of whole outside but with deep holes inside it takes a lot more than time and effort to reach equilibrium. This is what I call magic, the preparation of ourselves for the wholeness of being and living. In Greek the verb ‘to cook’ comes from the same word as magic. In that sense I use astrology as a master cookbook. In that process I have found out (as many other astrologers before me) that mystification of some sort is always necessary. Not everyone is ready at all times for coping with the consequences of the truth. In such cases it is a lot more preferable to hide important aspects of the truth for revealing later than having somebody reject the truth altogether out of mere temporary weakness.
This is briefly my explanation, I hope it made some sense. But why do you think that magic and mystification are hurting the field? I would be very interested in discussing it further with you.

Generally speaking, Capricorns are hard to seduce as they tend to be serious, realistic and cautious with their feelings. When you have him half the time being ‘cute and flirty’ with you, that’s more than a good sign.
The fact he ignores you the other half times could be because: a) he is shy and not totally self-secure, b) he observes you passively so that he learns more about you and evaluate whether his feelings are ‘right’, c) he is cautious to welcome romance because of other personal issues he is currently working on.
Why not trying to get to know him better and spend fun time together instead of hurrying to tell him how you feel? Maybe that way you will give him the time he needs to put himself together and have him talk about his feelings for you first. Remember Capricorn loves tradition! If you think it takes too long for you then you can always move on. I hope it helps :)
